Cozy bell tent farm stay in Cornwall in 'Barn Owl'

A stay at Puddle Farm is an idyllic break in beautiful, peaceful surroundings, you can truly relax, unwind and connect with nature amongst our wildflower meadows and neighbouring woodland. Listen to the owls at night, star gaze by your firepit and hear the grasshoppers chirping in the sunshine. Our 3 acre farm is home to rare breed pigs, sheep and hens and we have an orchard and organic kitchen garden. Chill out in the hammocks, feed the animals, collect the eggs! The space The 3 bell tents are nestled in a tranquil corner of the of the farm, next to the woodland and close to the stream. The 5 meter bell tents have a comfy double bed and 2 single beds, all bedding and blankets included. Under the awning you will have your own camping kitchen with a double cooking stove and grill. Indoor tables, chairs, lighting and rugs are provided. Each tent has a cosy outdoor area with a picnic table, BBQ and firepit. The meadow sits in a peaceful valley where the sounds of nature are all around and the dark skies are perfect for stargazing. Next to Barn Owl tent is a rope swing which is great for your little ones to swing around on. This is very popular with the children. The communal shepherd hut houses the composting toilet, hot electric shower, 2 basins with hot water and changing area plus a dishwashing area with shared fridge and 3 electrical charging points. There are games and books you can borrow from here. The field shelter is a communal under-cover area where you can eat, drink and watch the stars with other guests if you wish. Guest access Ample parking spaces approx 50 meters from the entrance to your tent. Puddle Farm is located on a quiet rural lane with little traffic. There are lots of walking trails to explore. Public transport is not great in Lanlivery so taxis are handy. The nearest train station is 2 miles away in Lostwithiel Other things to note Pre-order food hampers such as BBQ packs, Breakfast packs, Take Away Cream Teas and veg boxes can be ordered and delivered to your tent during your stay. We host a monthly farmers market on the last sunday of every month 12pm-4pm. If you would like to feed the animals please let us know and you can join us on our morning rounds! This is a working small holding....as well as beautiful, natural surroundings please expect the odd nettle here and there, the cock crowing and the sheep baa-ing. We can guarantee you will love it!
