"La Palombière " A comfortable cabin in absolute tranquility, perfect for relaxation and enjoying panoramic forest views. A relaxing retreat nestled for 2 persons within a large wooded property with private access, and your only neighbors : deers, hares, birds, and the Milky Way if you keep your eyes and ears open, not to mention the horses grazing nearby. An ideal place to recharge or hike, but where you have everything you need and essentials within easy reach. The space In the commune of Saint Symphorien, in the heart of the Landes forest, within the Landes de Gascogne Regional Natural Park, come and discover this rustic cabin nestled in the woods! Description of the cabin's interior: Living area = 37 m² of tiled floors (antique Gironde tiles) comprising: A 16 m² living room (3 windows + skylight) with an open-plan kitchen (4-burner stove, oven, refrigerator, sink, water heater), a small folding table for two on stools, a sofa, a coffee table, a sideboard/china cabinet, and a granite fireplace for heating and grilling. From this room, which serves as the entrance, a sliding door leads to the bathroom (1 window; 4 m²) with a sink and a large walk-in shower. Another door opens onto the bedroom (2 windows, 14 m²) with a rustic desk, mirrored wardrobe, chairs, and a bed (1.60 x 2.10 m). In the bedroom, a sliding door leads to a utility room (3 m²) housing a chemical toilet, the electrical panel, the ventilation system, the water supply manifolds, and storage. Exterior description: A wooded area of ​​oak and acacia trees where you can walk on manicured grass. A relaxing spot for tea or coffee, or for dozing in the hammock, sheltered from the heat. Once you cross the threshold, the access path invites you to explore the outdoors and enjoy the freedom of walks we would be delighted to share with you. Guest access 44° 24' 28'' N - 0° 33' 18'' W - Enter "Jouanhaut 7" on your GPS. From Saint Symphorien, pass the road to the stadium and the water tower. After 6 km on the D220E, you will reach the hamlet of Jouanhaut. Go to the Martin Travet house – a listed historical monument and equestrian center – at number 7. It is opposite the first house on your right, just past the bread oven. There is a sign for "Equestrian Center" and horse fencing along the access road. If you are unsure, please call us and we will guide you. Other things to note The Palombière rental is only available for 2 adults, but we welcome infants and babies up to 2 years old. Upon request, we can provide: - a travel cot with a mattress (€6), - a high chair (€2.50), - a bottle warmer (€1.50), - a stroller (€4) As owners of the equestrian center, we would be delighted to welcome your trail or driving horses and would be happy to share our riding trails and day trips from our facilities with you. Small, well-behaved dogs (who relieve themselves outside, do not jump on the sofa or bed, and sleep on a cushion) are permitted. - €40 for a week, - €20 for a weekend. On site, we can rent you bikes for €10 for half a day or €15 for a full day – as the forest tracks are accessible by car. The cycle path (Bazas-Arcachon) is 4 km away.
