La Palombière "Landes de Gascogne at full throttle"

"La Palombière" Hunting cabin, wooden cabin, friends' house… On the site of a family pigeon hunting cabin, in the format of a T1, an intimate and cozy universe has been recreated: modern comfort of the kitchen area, ease in the walk-in shower, pleasure of the bed. Outside, surrounded by the forest where horses and deer graze, the song of birds in all seasons will lull you to sleep, and the clear nights will allow you to make all your wishes upon a star. The space In the town of Saint Symphorien en Gironde in the heart of the Landes forest massif, inside the Landes de Gascogne Regional Natural Park, in the district of Jouanhaut, come and discover this rustic cabin in the middle of the forest! Description of the cabin interior Living area = 37 m2 of tiled floors (old Gironde tiles) including: A living room (3 windows + skylight) of 16 m2 with American kitchen (4 burners, oven, fridge, sink, water heater), small folding table for duos on stools, sofa, coffee table, buffet/dresser and granite fireplace for heating and grilling. From this room, which constitutes the entrance, a sliding door provides access to the bathroom (1 window; 4 m2) (washbasin, large walk-in shower) and another door opens to the bedroom (2 windows, 14 m2) rustic desk, mirror cabinet, chairs, bed (1.60 x 2.10 m). In the bedroom, a sliding door gives access to a technical room (3 m2) for chemical toilets, the electrical panel, the CMV, the water inlet distributors and storage. At the bottom of the garden, in the old style: dry toilets.  Guest access The accommodation is independent in a clearing, and the outdoors as well as many forest walking paths are available on the property. On-site horse boarding. Other things to note On site we can rent you mountain bikes for €10 per 1/2 day, €15 per day - as most forest roads are passable. La Palombière rental is only available for 2 adults, but we accept infants and babies up to 2 years old. Upon request we will provide you with: - a travel cot with bedding (€6/day), - a high chair (€2.50/d), - a bottle warmer (€1.5/day) - a stroller (4€/day) Well-behaved small dogs (pees and other business outside, not climbing on the sofa or bed, sleeping on a cushion) are tolerated. - €40 for a week, - €20 for a weekend.
