It sits in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is on the S.W. coastal path. Three golden beaches just in front of the chalet. The Ocean city of Plymouth is 20 mins by car. Here you can visit the historical Barbican, Plymouth Hoe, large lido, National Marine Aquarium, theatre, cinemas and more. Excellent for relaxing, walking, beaches, fishing or enjoying sunsets. The space The chalet can sleep four.....a large sofa pulls out to provide an extra sleeping area which we suggest is good for children. Our private peaceful chalet has a small lawn, a paved area and seating for two at the front. A large sunny private patio to the side, with table, 4 chairs and two loungers. A raised grass bank is adjacent to the side patio which is not overlooked. Private bank and farm fields behind. Our sunny chalet is ideally situated if you want to walk the beautiful South West Coast path, explore Devon, Cornwall, Dartmoor or any numerous local beaches / estuaries or just sit quietly and watch the changing moods of the sea. Bovisand beaches are ideal for swimming, snorkelling, fishing, spear fishing or playing in the flat sand when the tide is out. Allocated free parking for one car, approx. 40 meters from the door. Walking distance to The Mussel Inn at Down Thomas or The Eddystone Inn at Heybrook Bay.....both approximately half hour walks. Slightly further east is Wembury and further again is Newton Ferrers with its excellent foodie pubs [this involves use of the foot ferry]. The historical Ocean city of Plymouth is 20 mins by car with its famous historical Barbican, Mayflower Steps, Lido, The Hoe, and the National Marine Aquarium. Ample shopping opportunities in The Mall, and multiplex cinemas. Boat trips are available from the Hoe/Barbican for fishing or cruising in Plymouth Sound or along the Tamar River past the dockyard. Guest access By foot....South West Coast Path, beaches, cafe, shop, two pubs [couple of miles walk] By car....Devon, Dartmoor, Plymouth, Cornwall etc etc. Other things to note Lovely spacious and luxurious shower room. This spacious chalet is great for couples who want a few quiet days to themselves. Young children can sleep on the pull out sofa bed in the lounge but its not ideal for two adults.
