Just steps from Guimarães Castle, the historic Old Town, and the city’s best cafes and shops, you’ll have everything within reach — plus a peaceful space to unwind in at the end of the day. The space -Private, Secure Parking- Guimarães is a fantastic place to explore by foot! Keep your car securely parked in our private garage, located directly below the apartment building. The garage is only accessible by key or remote control, so you can rest assured knowing that your vehicle is safely parked while you explore the city. -The Space- Our condo is located on the top floor of the building & you will have full access to all of it. It is centrally located, next to popular tourist attractions & everyday necessities: Guimarães Castle: 7-minute walk Old Town: 7-minute walk Guimarães Stadium: 18-minute walk Bakeries, Restaurants, Grocery Stores, Butcher, Pharmacy & the Gas Station: 2-minute walk -Relax, Any Time of Day- Start your morning off by enjoying a nice cup of coffee on our balcony, while taking in the views of Penha on the hillside. Our lounge is stocked with multiple types of coffee— whether you prefer a nice espresso or French Press-style coffee. When you aren’t busy exploring Guimarães, take advantage of the indoor entertainment options we provide such as a Playstation 4 Gaming Console, Smart TVs (located in the living room and both bedrooms) and an assortment of board games. And the perfect way to end the night? Switch on the mood lighting in the lounge and enjoy a drink from our bar. It’s the perfect place to do some leisurely reading before bedtime. -Sleep Like a Baby- The primary bedroom has a King size bed & pillow topper, while the secondary bedroom has a double bed. Both bedrooms are equipped with electric shutters that will make the room pitch dark for bedtime. And come morning time, flip those shutters off; each bedroom has its own indoor balcony with great views of the town! There is also a sofa in the living room that can be converted into a sofa bed. -Have a Five-Star Meal at Home- We love cooking and invite you to use any of our supplies during your stay. We have all of the standard appliances, as well as additional amenities (Nespresso Machine, French Press, Rice Cooker, Juicer, Blender, etc.) In addition to our appliances, you are also welcome to pull from our assortment of spices. On a nice day, you can enjoy your meal on our fully furnished balcony. Or, if you prefer indoor dining, there is a 6-seater dining table with ample space to eat or work. -Modern Conveniences- Staying for a while and need a place to do your laundry? There is a Washer + Dryer combination machine on the balcony, just outside the kitchen. There are Air Conditioners and Heaters located throughout the house to ensure you are comfortable during your stay! Additionally, there is a Fireplace located in the living room for chillier days. Have to catch up on some work? The apartment is equipped with fast internet, plenty of table space to work on, along with standard office supplies & a wireless printer. Guest access You will have access to the full apartment & the parking garage.
