“Lofos Castelli House” is unique as unique is the old city of Chania. Ideally located in a historical alley of Castelli neighborhood, the oldest area of Chania city where the Byzantine Fortress used to be, Lofos Castelli House offers an unforgettable experience to the visitors who seek quiet and privacy but yet be a few meters away from city sights, city life and the charming old Harbor with its impressive Egyptian Lighthouse! The space Lofos Castelli House was built in 1960 and fully renovated in 2021. It is built on the ruins of the ancient city of "Kydonia," founded by King Minos. What makes our house special is its location, as all historical sights and the city center are within walking distance, as well as its comfort and very high aesthetic. Upon entering the house, you will find yourself in a spacious, fully air-conditioned open-plan area. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with coffee makers (espresso and filter), a kettle, a toaster, a refrigerator, and a dishwasher. A stylish, minimal dining area that comfortably seats 6 and a warm, earthy-toned living area (sofa that easily converts into a double bed) with a flat-screen TV and streaming services complete a welcoming space for the whole family. The soft, calm colors, the elegant furniture, the modern wall art, and the small flower cage-house enhance the beauty of the space! Additionally, the house has heaters in every room, making it ideal for winter stays as well. Lofos Castelli House offers 2 elegant, bright, and airy bedrooms, both with brand new mattresses and furniture, 2 bathrooms with walk-in showers (one of which is en-suite), and 3 different shady sitting areas in the fenced yard of the house. The house is self-catering, private, and ideal for 4 people, providing maximum comfort and privacy. A small child, however, can also be accommodated using the available baby cot. While enjoying the house’s yard, you will feel like you are traveling to another era. The lemon-bitter orange tree and the scents of the flowers, the small alleys around, the Venetian buildings, the ruins and monuments, as well as the view of the White Mountains, will surely enchant you!
