Centrally located between Midland, Bay City & Saginaw, just outside of Freeland resides your escape from the city! 5 minutes from the local & chain restaurants, grocer, gas stations, ATM's, etc! Fooseball Table! 75" TV! Lots of space for parking! Keep reading! The space Adorned with Lodge-like decor, our 3100 sq ft lower walkout basement is exclusively for our guest's enjoyment. Note: The inside stair case is secured by a double locked solid oak door at the top level. There is a plastic chain at the lower level to indicate the stairs are off limits. A sound dampening blanket hangs mid way up the stairs to help with privacy of both levels. **due to the nature of the property we have a STRICT 6 PERSON MAXIMUM LIMIT ON THE PROPERTY PERIOD REGARDLESS OF AGE OR IF THEY'RE STAYING THE NIGHT. ** There are 2 private entries to this space. The open floor plan accommodates the kitchenette/ dining and living rooms. The 75" tv is in view whether you're relaxing, preparing a meal, dining, or playing pool. ::note:: Fireplace in the dining area is seasonal. Adjoined to this area is the sauna and fitness/game room. You'll find the laundry room, bathroom, and bedrooms 1, 2 & 3 down the hall. The patio delivers an outdoor dining space, a gas grill, patio furniture, and a hot tub with a privacy fence. The pool is open seasonally- typically Memorial Day - Labor Day weather-dependent. Located on the other side of the pool is the Firepit, and horseshoes. The pool and the firepit are the only things that MAY be shared with the hosts. Guest access This space is private and is not shared with hosts. The pool (usually through Labor day- weather dependent) & fire pit are the only things that may be shared with us :) We reside on the level above you. If you're looking for a place where you can get away and find peace and quiet, along with some serenity and relaxation in a homey environment, this is the place for you! We're looking forward to hosting you! Other things to note We're located only 3 miles from the boat launch to the Tittabawassee River. Our small town of Freeland is renown for it's local festival called Walleye Fest which kicks off the season around the last week of April. Carnival Rides, fishing tournaments, endless garage sales and live music are just some of the things you can enjoy! Check it out! We're a 10 min drive to Dow Chemical Co. in Midland, or a 15 min drive to downtown Midland. A 15-20 min drive will take you to Shopping and dining in Saginaw, and 20-25 min drive will deliver you to multiple areas of Bay City including downtown nightlife, boat launchs and Bay City State Park. Wondering where you can put your boat in or do some fishing? You'll be pleased to know we are within 35 min several boat launches in Bay City which put you in the Saginaw River and out to the Saginaw Bay! If kayaking or tubing is more your style you're in luck! If you want to launch your own kayaks we're a 15 min drive to a nice kayak launch where you can enjoy the Pine and Chippewa rivers. Chippewa Nature Center offers group kayaking options which include the use of a kayak or head to Mt. Pleasant for additional kayak rental options and tubing options! Water activities are the heartbeat of a Pure Michigan Summer :) Interaction with our furry co-hosts is ultimately up to you.
