All three bedrooms, the bathroom, and the laundry room are located down the hall. Our family lives upstairs, but your indoor space is not shared. The two levels are separated by a secured staircase, a sound-buffering blanket, and a solid oak door with two locks. You will also have two private entrances. The upper deck above your patio will not be used during your stay. Outside, you’ll find space to cook, dine, relax, and play. Free firewood is provided for the firepit. Please note: * No more than six people may be on the property at any time, including daytime visitors. * Everyone on the property must be included on the Airbnb reservation. * The pool is typically open from June 1 through September 1, depending on the weather. * The fireplace is available seasonally. Guest access Guests have their own entrance and full access to the lower-level suite and guest outdoor areas. These spaces are not shared with the hosts. Our small town of Freeland is renown for it's local festival called Walleye Fest which kicks off the season around the last week of April. Several Bay City boat launches are within about 35 minutes and provide access to the Saginaw River and Saginaw Bay. If you enjoy kayaking or tubing, a launch for the Pine and Chippewa rivers is about 15 minutes away. Chippewa Nature Center also offers group kayaking programs. More kayak rentals and tubing options can be found near Mount Pleasant. Our furry co-hosts live on the property, but interaction with them is up to you. A separate guest walkway provides a barrier for guests who prefer not to interact with them. Please note: NFL RedZone and Big Ten Network are offered through DISH.
