Lovely room close to CBD and beach

Large room available in 3 bedroom house. Guest room is upstairs There is a guest bathroom and a small sitting area upstairs also. There is one guest car space in the carport. - A 2 night minimum applies. The space Large guest room available upstairs in 3 bedroom house in Nelson Bay. Linen and towels are included. Guests have their own bathroom upstairs and a guest parking space in the carport. My home is centrally located very close to Nelson Bay CBD (a 3 minute walk). The guest bedroom upstairs has a queen-size bed and also a couch (futon) and small TV. The guest bedroom is perfect for a couple but would accommodate up to 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children. Children are welcome. Guests have 2nd level upstairs to themselves, including a small sitting area with a bar fridge and kettle, toaster, microwave and a guest bathroom. There is no kitchen or laundry access. There is air conditioning/heating (reverse cycle) in the guest bedrooms and also downstairs in the living room. Tea/coffee and a continental breakfast (cereal/toast/juice) are included. A breakfast basket will be placed in upstairs sitting room. A short stroll to the marina, restaurants and cafes in Nelson Bay. A 5 minute walk to Dutchman's Bay. Located right in the heart of town. There is a Seafood Co operative at D'Albora Marina, which is about 5 minutes' walk. There are some great restaurants about 3 minutes walking distance in the Nelson Bay CBD, including Thai, Indian and Italian restaurants, Sandpiper's, and the Nelson Bay Bowling Club and the Nelson Bay Golf Club (a short walk). There is a large Woolworth's supermarket in the CBD. The Nelson Bay Cinema Complex is also located on Stockton Street, in the Cinema Mall, diagonally opposite Woolworth's. Lots of great walks, including Tomaree Mountain and Fingal Spit. Only 50 minutes drive to Newcastle. Nelson Bay has markets every Sunday. It is about 30 minutes by car to Newcastle Airport at Williamtown. There are also buses frequently going into Nelson Bay from Newcastle Airport. Port Stephens Coaches also has a daily route to Sydney. You will enjoy being so close to town, particularly being able to stroll home after an evening meal. You will not need to really drive at all around Nelson Bay. A very central location. There is a taxi rank about 3 minutes away in Donald Street. There are also buses (Port Stephens Coaches) that stop regularly on Donald Street and on nearby Government Road. It is about a 10 minute drive to the Salamander Bay shopping centre, which has Coles, Woolworths and Aldi supermarkets and other specialty stores, including Kmart. A great spot to visit. There are several whale-watching cruise boats that operate around the Bay. There is also a ferry which makes regular trips between Nelson Bay and Tea Gardens. This is a great day trip, and there are several lunch spots at Tea Gardens, including the the Tea Gardens Hotel and The Boatshed restaurant. Summer is a great time of year to visit Port Stephens. Beautiful weather and great beaches. It is a 5 minute drive to Shoal Bay beach, about 10 minutes to Fingal Beach, 15 minutes to Birubi Beach and 15 minutes to One Mile Beach. There is kayak hire, stand-up paddle-boarding and bike rental in Nelson Bay. Looking forward to seeing you in Port Stephens soon. You will never want to leave. Guest access There is Wi-fi. There are books and magazines upstairs that guests can access at any time. During your stay I want guests to feel welcome and comfortable in my home. I am happy to help with any directions or recommendations. Other things to note -There is a dog on the property. I have a labradoodle Coco, who is inside alot of the time. She is very friendly and loves people and other dogs. -There is a shared driveway. Please park in carport or out the front. It is a dual-occupancy block. There is a house at the front and my house at the back. -There is one guest car space in the carport closest to the back house. -There is an automatic front gate. Guests are given a remote on check-in. -There is a small fully-fenced backyard . -Smoking is allowed outside only. No smoking inside - A 2 night minimum applies. -Due to Covid 19, guests can only access the front entrance, the guest area upstairs, front balcony, and backyard. Other shared spaces are not accessible at this time. There is no laundry or kitchen access. Sorry about the inconvenience. -Dogs are considered. They must be house trained and ok with other dogs.
