Description
Typical fisherman's house in the ancient Sicilian villages. Also available in winter because it is equipped with heating. It consists of a bedroom with a double bed, a living room with a sofa bed for one and a half, a bathroom and a large internal courtyard with a wood-fired oven, a barbecue and an outdoor shower. Additional single beds are available. It is in a quiet area and in a strategic position: 40 min from where the excursions on Etna depart, 25 min from Taormina, 30 min from Catania and 1 hour from Syracuse The space The house is available both in summer and winter as it is equipped with heating. Carruba is a quiet village where you will have the opportunity to get in touch with the characteristic and traditional Sicilian village life: from the fish seller who passes through the streets, to the cart that sells granita with brioches that will attract your attention thanks to a few whistles, to the nice "neighborhood meetings" on the sidewalks comfortably seated on the chairs of the house. The house is located in a country village, and the inner courtyard is full of vegetation, so it is possible that some insects will show up, even in the house, such as some nice centipedes, or some geckos, which are absolutely harmless. From the bedroom, to access the bathroom, it is necessary to pass from the living room, or from the courtyard, the specific more than anything else in the event that two couples stay. Other things to note I add a note for clarity: The bedroom is accessed from the living room or from the entrance, as the house is structured, in order to go to the kitchen from the bedroom it is necessary to pass through the living room, alternatively it is possible to pass through the courtyard.
