Culmer’s Cottage - 2 mins walk to beach and town

Culmer’s Cottage is a bright, light, comfortable, newly refurbished three bedroom house with a courtyard garden. You are right in the heart of Broadstairs but tucked away in a quiet cul de sac. Perfect for couples and families wanting to get away from it all. Viking Bay beach and all the cafes and restaurants are a two minute stroll away. The space The Ground Floor A large, light and comfortable living room with a Smart TV and Bose wireless speaker and, of course, Wi-Fi. In the fully equipped kitchen you will find everything you need, including an electric oven, gas hob, a large fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. As well as an extensive range of cooking equipment, you have crockery, utensils and all the essential kitchen items needed for a family, including non-breakable stuff for younger children and a high-chair. There is a table and six chairs in the kitchen, making it easy to dine together, with two further chairs and an extendable leaf in the table if needed. The kitchen opens out via double doors onto a small, bright, fully enclosed patio garden, where there is a bistro table and four chairs, along with a washing line. Downstairs, there is also a spacious family bath and utility room with a bath, toilet, washing machine, tumble drier, iron, ironing board and clothes airer on the ground floor. This is also where we store buckets and spades, beach towels and mats for you to take to the beach and where you could store a buggy during your stay. The First Floor You have the choice of three double bedrooms, the first with a king-size bed, the second with two single beds and the third bedroom has bunk beds with memory foam mattresses. There is also a compact bathroom with a shower and a toilet. A travel cot and a side bar for one of the single beds are available for younger guests, along with a small selection of books, games, puzzles and toys. (Please provide your own linen for the travel cot). There is ample space to put up the travel cot in the double bedroom and just enough to place it in either of the other bedrooms. Guest access The house is accessed via a keysafe located by the front door. Just let yourself in with the code number provided. Guest access You will have exclusive use of the whole house and rear garden during your stay. You will access the space via a lockbox at the front door.
