My house is an old stretch of wood, very simply built but infinitely cozy , with a large terrace. I love the peace and yet central location right next to the village shop and at breakfast the view of my neighbors' alpacas. The standard is basic with an original soapstone wood-burning oven, but there is also a small well-equipped kitchen and washer/dryer. As there is only one bathroom, not ideal for more than six guests at a time. The house has been lovingly decorated with antiques from the local flea markets by the designer family/owners. Large terrace with view to the mountains. Two private parking spaces in front of the house. Great area for hiking, skiing, curling and sledding. Mild weather, lots of sun. Small dogs are welcome. No smoking indoors. A chairlift, a few minutes walk from the house, carries you up to 2000 meters above sea level during the peak season. Village shop across the street from the house. Two restaurants in the village. Frequent aerial cableway connection to the valley below, offering a spectacular view to the Rhein River and bring castle spotters to the "Burgenland" Domleschg. Charming swimming lake in the valley. It is a great place to relax: pristine and idyllic.
