Paris meets Woodstock / Artist home

Tastefully decorated, the house has 1 bedroom and a separate artist studio, garden and sauna. Located on a quite dead end road, in scenic Glenford, it is minutes away from the center of Woodstock NY, close to Phoenicia, Kingston and Saugerties with all the amazing Restaurants and music venues they have to offer. If nature is what you are seeking the area offers lakes and streams to swim in, ski slopes and many magnificent hikes. Or just retreat to the quiet back yard area surrounded by trees. The space This space is an artist haven, a home and a retreat for spiritual practice. Perfect for a couple, it blends french country style with a Parisian flare. There is a dedicated meditation space located on the second floor landing if you are a meditator. It is quiet, and filled with birds, a hammock for resting, and has a lovely peaceful garden patch to enjoy fresh veggies and beautiful flowers. There is a back deck with a few chairs and a table for outdoor dining. The whole backyard is circled in trees creating a private sanctuary space. If you are an artist: painters or writers may use the very spacious studio located at the far end of the property. In front of the studio is a fire pit. Next to the studio is a Sauna, and outdoor shower. I am available for questions, or help if you need it at any time to make sure your stay is as wonderful as possible. Guest access This is a great area to walk or go for runs (great for your dog if you have one, it is welcome).. lots of hills if you like a challenge. I have a sound healing school located in Woodstock: Sage Academy of Sound. Please feel free to drop in for an evening sound bath or a Sunday sound journey. The nearest supermarkets are Hannafords, Sunfrost, and in Woodstock Sunflower Organic Market. My personal favorites: 1. Cuchina, Italian for dinner 2. Peal moon for lunch or dinner 3. The Garden Café on the Green center of Woodstock 4. Silvia's on Main Street on Woodstock is one of my favorites, reservations recommended 5. Red Onion has a great Food cozy atmosphere. A touch past town, reservation is recommended 6. Mud Club: Fantastic breakfast, outdoor sitting, and to go 7. Bread Alone is a great local hang-out 8.
