Celebrating Moreno's Cottages 100th Year! 1 -2 BR cabins are clean and well kept. Situated on 3 acres, surrounded by forever wild forest. Conveniently located between Saranac Lake and Lake Placid - comes see why so many of our guests return each year! Our Summer only cabins are open June - October each year. Please look for your favorite of our 10 cabins, search under "Moreno's" for details and reviews. We offer Cabin 10 all year, on Airbnb. We offer discounted rates at 4+ nights and weekly. The space Cabin 8 features a queen size Hickory Log bed and a dressing chair. It has a kitchenette with coffeemaker, microwave, small refrigerator and eating table and is has a large screened window through which you can take in the fresh mountain air while enjoying your morning coffee. Every cabin has its own picnic table, grill, fire pit and Adirondack chairs to relax at the end of a day filled with local adventures. Please note there is no stove/oven in the kitchenette. We are a family business that takes pride in our property. We keep our cabins CLEAN and well maintained. We are only 5 minutes in either direction from Lake Placid and Saranac lake. We are located just down Old Ray Brook Rd, off Route 86 but our property is quiet and peaceful. Guests can easily walk to Ray Brook Brewing Co. and Tail 'O the Pup outdoor BBQ, as well as the newly converted ADK Rail Trail, a multi use corridor stretching from Lake Placid to Tupper Lake, and suitable for walking, running, biking, snow shoe / ski, snowmobile, etc. Guest access We have free Wifi spread throughout the property. Our guests say the speed and signal strength are very good no matter where you stay. BBQ grills, Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, fire pits , and horseshoes all free for our guests to use. We sell firewood on the property as well. Parking is plentiful and free. There is a convenience store / gas station within walking distance that carries groceries, sandwiches, beer, ice , etc. Other things to note Moreno's cottages was founded by Tessie and Tony Moreno in Uncle 1923. Tony built this property by hand over the years and Tessie ran the place like a drill Sargent. Nearly 100 years later, the Drake Family with their four children took over from their descendants, and added our upgrades and flair to the property, but remain committed to keeping the experience of past generations preserved for those to come. Our committment to our guests' is to offer a CLEAN, comfortable and relaxing home base for their visit and adventures in this gorgeous region.
