Native Home # 1 is located just west of Lish Road. It is the closest to the West side. Parties and events are not allowed. The porta potty and washing station are close to these homes. The homes are over looking valley, with amazing sunset views of the west mountains. We do allow pets, there is a $20/deposit/stay. If no sign of pets on cots, and surrounding areas we will return $10. Please let us know prior to arrival. Consider booking a Family / Work group getaway NOW! This is a unique team-building experience everyone will remember for years to come. The Lava Family Inn along with Annexes are located up in the hills on the East bench overlooking the valley. Those that stay in the Inn or a Annex have access to the river land for day time use. The River land, Spiritual Sanctuary has over a mile of river frontage with open fields and plenty of places to enjoy the fresh water. This property is located between Inkom and McCammon, 15 minutes from down town Lava Hot Springs and 2 hours north from Salt Lake City, UT. This land is primitive. It's a place of refuge. The only rules here are as you cross the gate, you follow the Indian Ten Commandments. Both the Native homes and the Sanctuary is a carry in carry out. There a porta potty and washing station at the Sanctuary south of gate on the East side of river. There is no power, but plenty of sun for solar. The Native Homes South are located close together and would be a great location for a family reunion or any occasion where you want to be in close proximity with other guests. The Native Homes North are little more private and secluded and are located around trees. Each Native Home is provided with a mosquito lantern, 3 double wide cots that hold up to 285 lbs on each side of the cot, floor mats, a wire spool table for outside use, a bucket (required to be filled before you start your fire inside the tipi), and a fire ring that you can keep lit all night long. Fire wood is available for purchase. $5/bundle or $15/4 bundles delivered to your tipi site. If you pre-pay via venmo, we will try to have it at your tipi upon your arrival. Recommended minimum things to bring: -Old blankets and pillows (embers can fly from fire... leave expensive sleeping bags at home) -Headlamp -Covered shoes you can get in the water with. Available Activities: -Ax throwing stations -Primitive bow shooting -River Sauna on weekends -Disc Golf -River Volley Ball -River Tug of war -Local Bison ranch where you can feed the mother and baby bison. -15 min. away from Lava Hot Springs swimming pool and hot pools. This property is located 15 minutes from down town Lava Hot Springs (between Inkom and McCammon) or 2 hours north from Salt Lake City, UT. This land is primitive. It's a place of refuge and safety. The only rules here are as you cross the gate, you follow the Indian Ten Commandments . The ten commandments are to respect the land and others. Come with a open mind to be healed from whatever you might be dealing with in your personal, family, or professional life. I assure you if you put forth the effort....watch the stars at night, listen to the small water falls, silence your electronics, you will receive personal revelation from the Great Spirit, our creator, who loves us all. If you forgot to bring a notebook and pen, don't worry, everyone that comes to this sacred land to visit, receives a notebook and pen. Please find the time to be alone. Find your own little spot....there are several. Too many to mention. This property has changed my life immensely. I assure you if you put forth the right amount of effort it will change your way of life....we always have room to improve. You will seek a better understanding of your purpose in life....why am I truly here. To be a dad, mom, raise kids, or much much more.... This is a carry in carry out location. There is no power, but plenty of sun for solar powered devices. We encourage hi-tech equipment that are independent of gas, or utility power. We strongly discourage noisy gas generators. We can show you what we use, i.e. solar power to pull water from the river for outdoor shower and garden, etc. Please feel free to contact me. The best way is by text message to my personal phone. If I don’t respond right away, don’t worry, I will. Leave a very detailed text message, screen capture your booking and send it to me....i.e. My name is....i booked on May 5th, for Native Home # 1 ...on May 10th for 1 day. I was wondering if I could change it to May 11th, and get Native Home # 5, because my friends from school just found out they are in Native Home # 6 on May 11th. There are a lot of instances where either I can't hear my phone or my phone isn't with me at the moment.
