Copalis Bluff Hideaway, nestled in the forest on the bluff where the Copalis River meets the sea, is very private & has one of the most incredible views in the area... Our deck affords the best viewing of our visiting wildlife... bald eagles, osprey, migrating whales & otters playing in the river. This is a great place to relax in any season, sitting on the deck or staying cozy inside during a storm reading a book by the fireplace. The house is very private and feels away from it all, but only a short drive into Ocean Shores or Seabrook for supplies, restaurants and other activities. Parking on site limited to 3 vehicles. We will send you info & be in touch via text message before your stay & available if any issues come up. Small private gated community. Forested with close ocean beach access. We have limited parking, 3 vehicles max at our house. Access to the beach is by way of a 5-7 minute walk down our private road. No parking is allowed at the bottom of the hill. Note: Recent severe erosion at the bottom of our hill has made our beach access almost impossible. For easy beach access we advise guests to drive north 3 miles to Roosevelt Beach or Moclips Beach a little bit farther. Note: We charge a minimal fee per guests per night after 2 guests. If more guests stay than was stated in the reservation agreement you will be charged the extra amount owed to us. Parking is limited. No more than 3 vehicles at any time please. Note: Severe erosion has taken place at the beach level due to high tides & the river changing course, so our beach access is very difficult & not recommended at this point. Roosevelt Beach is a 3 mile drive north of our home & has easy beach access & parking right at the beach level. Cell service: Verizon cell service works best in out location. There is a cozy propane fireplace stove as well as a collection of games, puzzles & books to read for those blustery rainy days in winter when the best activity is indoors watching the storms come & go! We have a TV available for Netflix or DVD movie watching and there is a small collection of DVD movies but feel free to bring your favorite DVDs for those rainy days! Water: Our well water is shared with some of our neighbors and is somewhat limited, so please conserve when possible. Note: Unless prearranged beforehand check in time is 4:00 p.m. or later. Check out time is by 11:00 a.m. If you should leave earlier than 11:00 our housekeeper would appreciate being notified so she can come in & get started on cleaning as early as possible. Her contact info is at the house. We have a charcoal bq grill available in the warmer months but it is put away during the cooler months, from approximately October 1 to May 1.
