The One is a Mediterranean themed 2-bedroom apartment with a large terrace, featuring panoramic views of the Arabian sea and the Konkan forests. Situated in the upcoming gated community of Sea Vista, The One is your ideal family or friends holiday getaway. We look forward to your visit. *Please note that the maximum number of guests we allow in the house is 4. Exceptions will be made in case of infants or kids on a case to case basis. The space PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING - We are a unique home stay and NOT a five star hotel. We just happen to have a five star rating on AirBnB and are Superhosts. - The apartment is in a village in a rural region and NOT in a city. Please understand that things are taken at a slower pace in villages. - The apartment is on the 2nd floor and there is NO elevator or ramp. There are 45 steps up to the apartment. - There is NO resident housekeeper or security person that will help you with your luggage. - We are in a forested area and some insects can enter inside the apartment even if windows and doors are closed. If you have a fear of insects, DO NOT book. - Power cuts can sometimes happen and we have inverter back up for 3 hours on select fans and lights. NO refund requests will be tolerated as a result of power cuts. - Appliances, electrics and plumbing fittings can fail at any time at any place, and while we will try to repair any failures as quickly as we can, please understand that we are in a remote area and not a city, so it usually takes longer. NO refund requests will be tolerated under these circumstances. - Due to the proximity of the property to the ocean you may sometimes see a fungus growing on some wooden items. There is NO need to be alarmed, it is natural and harmless, and can be cleaned off easily. The home is not occupied regularly, but is cleaned daily and readied for guests as per bookings. - We DO NOT offer and food and the kitchenette is suitable for simple meals. - Please DO NOT ask for discounts on bookings below 6 nights. The discounts are already applied on what you see. - We have a maximum occupancy of 4 adults and 1 to 2 infants who must be below 2 years of age. Please DO NOT ask to “adjust”. - Please treat the housekeeper with respect and politeness. The housekeeper DOES NOT stay on the property and is not available 24 hours. - BE respectful of the local residents, language and culture. - READ reviews from other guests who have stayed with us to understand their experiences. Guest access The entire home and the spectacular terrace. Please note- We cover the terrace furniture during monsoons to avoid rain damage as our area is prone to incessant rains and winds. We request you to not uncover it even if it’s not raining during your stay. Appreciate your Co-operation. Other things to note The house is equipped to accommodate 4 people comfortably. We do not allow more than 4 people as we believe it brings down the quality and the comfort factor of the house. Monsoon Advisory: The Konkan region experiences heavy rainfall during the monsoon season between June and September. Due to the exposed location of the property, The One is susceptible to heavy winds and rain. To avoid rain damage, we have covered the terrace furniture and we request you to not uncover it. In rare cases, during heavy rainfall, you may experience power cuts. The inverter will work lights and fans, however ACs, geysers and fridge will not work until the power comes back. Please note that the apartment is on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator.
