Fantastic house with terrace right in the centre of Étretat awaits your weekend escape. Early-20th C charm - original cement tiles & wooden staircases - coupled with modern comforts; perfect for friends & family to explore the Alabaster Coast. Facing south on a private alley it is calm & extremely bright & airy. The central heating & fireplace ensure a warm & cosy stay in winter, whilst the terrace avails alfresco dining in summer. The space Three bedrooms plus a study with convertible double sofa bed. The house resembles two fisherman’s houses combined, with two separate staircases leading to the upper rooms. The expansive ground floor consists of the kitchen (with back kitchen), dining room and salon, one bathroom with shower, a separate toilet and the laundry. The terrace is across from the front door and equipped in warmer seasons with BBQ, dining table and chairs, it has lighting and an electrical socket. The main staircase (above the kitchen) leads to two floors, the first with double bedroom 1 (160cm bed) and a large bathroom with a great shower. On the second floor there is a study with convertible sofa bed (160cm bed) and a kid's room with bunk beds (bedroom 3). The second staircase (above the salon) is quite narrow and steep - not for anyone who is unsure on their feet. This leads to another office and a double bedroom 2 (140cm bed). The kitchen is cute but extremely well equipped to cook up a storm using the delicious local produce. Equipment includes: induction stove top; electric oven; toaster; Nespresso machine, as well as a traditional coffee percolator; magimix blender and food processer; plus a handheld blender; all manner of knives and utensils, pots and pans - including those to cook mussels and fish and crack lobster claws! The back kitchen provides a great covered outdoor space for smoking on a rainy day or to open oysters whilst sipping on a cidre or enjoying some local apple juice! The dining room is well equipped with cutlery and crockery including lovely serving bowls and plates to honour the day's catch, it also offers numerous lighting options to suit your needs and mood. The fireplace is available for use. WiFi and Orange LiveBox TV are connected through fibre. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house and private terrace. Please note that there is street parking only. Other things to note We do not provide bath towels or beach towels. Sheets are provided, but we ask guests to bring their own towels, please. For your comfort upon arrival, you will find hand-soap, toilet paper (two rolls per toilet), washing up liquid, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, tea and four café capsules for the Nespresso machine. The house is in an alley shared with other neighbours so please do not be loud or play music late at night. It is not a house for parties.
