Kumala Living is a private complex of accommodation in the heart of the Jakarta. The space We are set in the heart of a local neighbourhood near Senayan, Binus Anggrek/Syahdan University, and conveniently located near major roads to Central, West and South Jakarta. For those seeking a truly authentic Jakarta experience, every morning the local neighbourhood market activities happen just outside the complex. For those who want a quiet and refreshing retreat, our accommodation units are tucked away inside the Kumala Living complex, a hidden gem full of lush greenery that makes you feel like you’re in a tropical Bali villa. We charge an extra fee for an additional person, and there is a strict maximum of 3 persons that can stay in this unit. Do not ask for more than 3 persons. No bringing other people/friends (who are not part of the booking) to the unit, even just to "hang out for a little". Please respect our house rules and don't show up with a stranger on our doorstep. It’s also easy to call local taxi companies or use ride-hailing apps. Getting around Jakarta is no problem! Nearest convenience store is Indomaret and ATM can be reached in walking distance for particular local bank (ATM Link and BRI). Money changer is located 10 mins away inside Grand ITC Permata Hijau. Jakarta’s shopping malls are a centre of city life. We are close by Senayan City, Plaza Senayan, Gandaria City and Grand ITC Permata Hijau. Restaurants, coffee houses or shops are within walking distance or minutes away by online taxi. Nestled in an authentic local neighbourhood, you can easily reach many traditional small shops/warung. There are so many things to explore around, by foot or by local transportation. Guest access You have full access to shared spaces: the common area, swimming pool, gym, basketball court, pingpong table and basketball court. We provide two washers and a dryer in the laundry area, with complimentary laundry detergent. Sports equipment can also be borrowed: basketballs, badminton rackets and shuttlecocks, table tennis racket and ping pong balls. Feel free to use them and have fun doing sports inside the complex! By booking this unit, you state that you understand and agree to all our house rules, to ensure your stay is convenient from beginning to end. Big events and photoshoot using professional photographer/equipment for pre-wedding, commercial product and maternity/family have different rates and rules. Communication during stay with our host mostly will be by phone. But don't worry, we will make sure everything run smooth :) There is a daily cleaning service. For 7-nights stays, we provide bi-weekly cleaning service. For 30-nights stays, we provide weekly cleaning service. Our complex is tucked in the middle of a local ‘kampoeng’ and surrounded by mosques (classic Jakarta) so expect the sound of the call to prayer five times a day. This unit is also facing the street, expect the sound of morning market traffic everyday. We respect our neighbors and the local community, but if this is an issue with you at all please do not book. Quiet hours in Kumala Living are from 10 pm to 7 am. Televisions, voices, or other devices must be kept at a respectful low level at all times. Doors should be opened and closed quietly. Absolutely NOT allowed for party or other noises. CHECK IN: Check-in is from 2 – 7 pm. Late check-in past 7 pm is allowed, but the security guard will help you as the hosts may not be on site. You can meet the host staff next day. Please let us know the time you’d like to check in. Early check-in and late check-out are allowed as long as the unit is available, but will be charged per hour. CHECK OUT: 12 pm. Please be on time as we need time to clean the rooms for next reservation. Storing luggage will be available up to 24 hours after check out.
