Cedar Creek Wayside Castle

1930 Stone House 'Mini Castle' on 9 private acres near Strasburg Virginia bordering Cedar Creek Battlefield and Belle Grove Plantation National Park. Home was built by Otis Elevator company in 1930 for their daughter. You have nature trails and fire pit, swimming pool (opened April 15th), deer and wildlife too. Short walk to historic Ceder Creek. Full estate is yours to play and relax. No dogs in pool. Pool is open into early October usually. Hot tub is ready year round. The space This mini castle is a set on a private Nine acres estate. Plenty of space to park vehicles and room for a few self contained campers.... Gazebo and fire pits for night time fellowship. The pool is usually up and running by early April This is a 9 acre estate and there is always the chance that workers will be on the property. Fence work, pool work, tree work, and mowing of course. They will all be respectful of the house and they try not to be there when guests are there. Smart TVs and WiFi too. Fully equipped home with all you need. Do not let dogs in the pool. New 8K liner just installed. You will be held responsible for damage. Guest access Entire Property. Basement has laundry and ping pong table. Dart board too. Pool is clean and maintained with gazebo next to it. Swim at your own risk. No dogs at all in the pool. The liner is very expensive and the dog hair messes up the pump. Hot tub on patio is always ready and cleaned for each use. Pool closed Usually early October Other things to note Pool will be closed early October and opened again early April. Anything in the fridge or cabinets is yours to use. Any good food is donated to the food bank. Don’t throw away good food. Games are in Library. WiFi is installed and password is freebeer and TV's are both working. Living room has YouTubeTV app working too. Out in the big field there is a fire pit. use any scrap wood in the pile next to it. Don't use split firewood in the pit, that is for inside the house. No dogs in the pool! New liner was very expensive for a pool that size.
