Restful Double Room - Doll's Cottage, Doolin

A cosy, private ensuite room on ground floor. Doll’s Cottage is located in the heart of Doolin village on the west coast of Ireland. We are 3 minute walk from Gus O' Connor's Pub, short walk to Doolin harbour to visit the Aran Islands, we are in close proximity to the start of the Cliffs of Moher walking trail and ideally located as a base to explore the Burren National Park. The space Tea/Coffee facilities are provided in your room. Ours is not a grand modern hotel, but rather a cosy, quaint and traditional house where you will instantly feel at ease, and at home. Unique decorations and artwork grace the walls showing the history of Doolin as well as Séan's previous career as an antiques dealer. The name Doll’s Cottage comes from the owner - Séan who’s mother was lovingly known as Doll. With her husband Gus they ran Gus O’ Connors pub (which is only a stones through away from Doll’s Cottage) for decades. She was famed for her hospitality and warmth, a tradition Séan is carrying on here. Guest access We offer free parking outside of our home for guests. O' Connor's Pub on Fisher St. as well as several craft shops are all within a very short walking distance from our front door. We are located in the heart of Doolin village and the oldest part. Doolin harbour is a 15 minute walk where you can catch a ferry to the Aran Islands or relax with a cruise under the Cliffs of Moher. There are public buses to Doolin but a car is absolutely recommended to get around. During your stay On booking I will forward my contact number for any issues and will greet you on arrival if checking in between 4pm - 7pm. Other things to note Please enter via the front door (blue half door) and avail of the hand sanitiser on arrival. If you have been walking at the Cliffs or the Burren and have muddy boots, please remove them and leave in the front hallway.
