Seaside Sona Baile, quirky and comfortable

Sona Baile warmly welcomes visitors from all corners of the world. An oldie but a goodie and you may not want to leave! With an ever changing vista of boats, orcas, waves, paddle-boarders, kayaks, windsurfers and sunsets, we have no need for a TV. We are across from a nice swimming beach, looking at Mana Island. We're on SH1 until the new SH1 opens in 2020 so there is some traffic noise but you also hear the waves and the house is reasonably soundproofed! The space We love good conversation and hearing about your interesting life experiences. We enjoy good food and invite guests to join in mealtimes. There are plenty of eating in or take-away options within 5 minutes walk as well as a supermarket and the train to Wellington which takes 20-25 minutes. Guest access We encourage guests to join in and make themselves at home. Apart from the other 2 bedrooms, the rest of the house is for all of our enjoyment. During your stay We are self employed so very flexible and can be present and sociable or quietly in the background as suits. Happy to answer all questions and Lindsey is very well travelled in New Zealand so can give you plenty of tips for travel.
