Petite maison papillion is a charming cottage of 90 m2, set in 3000 m2 of garden and wooded land. It is next door to the owner's house There are lovely walks to take, or you can swim at the local river beaches. if you prefer, you can just relax around the swimming pool and gardens. We are ideally located for a peaceful getaway, but also close to local villages and towns that surround us. The space There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main room of 32m2 is the lounge, diner, and kitchen - All in one. Upstairs, you have a mezanine double-en-suite bedroom, with exposed beams and sloping ceilings and charming windows. The en suite has a full bath with hair shower over, sink, and toilet. Back downstairs, you'll find a further 2 bedrooms: 1 with a double bed and 1 with a single bed, plus a full bathroom with bath, shower over, toilet and sink. There is a wood burner for the colder months. The kitchen has a gas hob, Ninja countertop oven, microwave, and coffee machines. There is also a range of outdoor cooking facilities in the summer months There are several external areas to sit and relax. The central square is perfect for an aperitif, or, you can choose the canopy seating area next to the external dining terrace. This area is very private and not overlooked. there are several gardens where you can take a seat and relax in if you wish The swimming pool is open from mid-May to the end of September and is also very private Outdoor cooking facilities are available in the warmer months and include gas and charcoal BBQs, Paella station, Pizza oven; During the winter months you can cozy up inside around the wood burning fire and in summer months enjoy all the external facilities. The historic town of Saint Aulaye and Aubeterre-sur-Dronne are both 10 minutes away by car, they both offer river beaches for swimming, plus a range of bars and restaurants. The larger town of Riberac is 20 minutes away. We are also ideally located to visit Bergerac, Perigueux and Angouleme, all situated 45 minutes to one hour. You can head to Bordeaux in just over one hour . Guest access You have your own detached house. and now have exclusive use of external facilites.
