9 Steps to the Beach! Hidden Ocean Grove Gem

IMPORTANT NOTICE: This property will not be available for rental from July 1 2026. NOTE: From Dec 1 2025 to Jan 31 2026 there is a minimum stay of 4 nights. Bookings less than 4 nights will not be accepted. At other times we have a minimum of 2 night stay. Next to the beach in a quiet side street this 4 bedroom house offers everything for a relaxing weekend away or an extended stay over winter with both gas heaters and in built wood burning fire in the living areas. The space Located adjacent to the beach, our home is the perfect beach haven. Located in a quiet side street in Ocean Grove, 9 Steps to the Beach boasts luxurious comfort, extensive amenities and the perfect location to enjoy the summer sun, or escape to during winter. Our unique home is perfectly placed between the sand dunes and Begola Wetlands, and a convenient 5 minute drive to the Ocean Grove main street. The 4 spacious bedrooms boast queen beds, luxurious bedding and towels, allowing our guests to feel at the height of comfort during their stay with us. Sleeping a maximum of 8, 2 of our bedrooms feature built in robes, with the master including a walk-in robe and ensuite. All linen is provided, including mattress and pillow protectors and in summer beach towels. Both bathrooms have walk on showers. Please note there is not a bath in either bathroom. A baby bath is however available Our home features two separate living areas, one equipped with an open fire, and the other with TV. The large dining table seats 8, however we also have an island bench and games table for extra seating. The outdoor area is decked and features seating for 8 plus and a gas barbeque, that leads onto our spacious back garden and basketball hoop area. There is gas heating in the living and dining areas, as well as our open fire to provide warmth in the cool winter months. The kitchen is fully equipped including microwave, dishwasher, slow cooker, electric frypan, oven, stove top and full sized fridge and freezer. We provide an extensive range of crockery, including serving platters and indoor and outdoor wine glasses. Our laundry features a washing machine and tumble dryer and we happily provide washing powder to our guests. There is also a steam iron and ironing board, as well as clothes rack. We also provide free WiFi. Extra amenities include port a cot, high chair, beach towels, beach chairs, boardgames, large selection of DVD's and books and our outdoor basketball ring with concrete half court. Please note: The daily rate includes the provision of all linen. In addition there is no separate cleaning fee. Guest access Guests have access to the full house apart from several locked cupboards with owners items which we ask you to respect. Other things to note As this is in a residential street this house is not suitable for parties. We accept a maximum of 8 guests. We hope you enjoy our beach house as much as we do! We reserve the right to request a security deposit of $500 from parties not verified by Air BnB. Sufficient fire wood is provided for the first nights warmth. We find on cold nights it best to use the gas heaters to take the edge of any coldness while the fire gets going. Set to low at the end of the night the fire will still be going in the morning and can then be stocked up with wood to increase warmth. Additional fire wood is available in town from all the service stations, and the hardware stores. One bag generally does enough for one night. It is illegal to take driftwood form the beach - this is closely policed by the council as well as some of our neighbours -as some of our previous guests have discovered! We do not accept Schoolies bookings and as such have that period blocked out for bookings.
