Cannich is at the centre of one of the most scenic areas in Scotland. We are surrounded by lochs, mountains, fishing rivers, waterfalls & wildlife. We have two National Nature Reserves & an RSPB Reserve in the area. Roads from the village lead into Glen Cannich, Glen Affric, Glen Strathfarrar, & Glen Urquhart. We are an ideal base to explore all of these features. For the walker there are 18 Munros in the area while our rivers are renowned for the quality of salmon & trout fishing. The space This beautiful detached cabin is set in private grounds with enclosed garden & wonderful views. We provide everything you need for your stay. The kitchen & living layout is open plan, with a fully equipped kitchen, Freesat TV & free WiFi. This traditional pine cabin makes a perfect bolthole for keen walkers, Munro baggers, nature lovers, fisher men and cyclists. Providing ample accommodation for up to four guests, the attractive and stylish cabin is spacious, lovingly furnished and feature beautiful pine interior throughout. With far-reaching views, this is an idyllic spot to relax in at the end of a great day. On entering into this light, fresh and inviting holiday cabin you will find a spacious and relaxing open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The comfortable and welcoming lounge is a perfect space to snuggle up together and spend the evening with a good book or a favourite TV show. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need during your stay, and the delightful dining area is perfect for gathering round and chatting late into the night. Exploring further, each cabin has two bedrooms, one double & one bunk room. The cabin also features a stylish shower room. Heading outside, you can unwind in the enclosed garden. Here you can relax with a morning coffee, a glass of wine in the evening or an alfresco meal as the sun goes down. The village has a grocery shop a cafe & public transport just a short stroll away. Guest access Guests have their own front door leading on to their own enclosed garden. Other things to note Check in time on the day of arrival if after 4p.m. - Check out time on the day of departure is strictly 9.30a.m. -There are waterproof mattress protectors on the mattresses but if you envisage a possibility of bed wetting please come prepared with your own duvets & pillows or there will be a charge for new mattresses &/or extra cleaning. PLEASE NOTE Cannich is a small rural village located 15 minutes from Loch Ness & 30 minutes from Inverness. If you are looking for walking, hiking, rivers, lochs, waterfalls & scenery we are the ideal location for you. If you are looking for night-life we may not be the destination for you. There is a café bar next door & another café near-by. The Tomich hotel is a 5 minute drive away which is closed for renovation but will re-open in June.
