Right on the cliffs of Lake Whitney in Clifton, TX, our home offers a homey, contemporary decor and style, and is the perfect location for a family getaway or time with friends away from home. We are perfectly nestled in between DFW and Waco making it convenient half way point for folks going north or south! We are located nearby Whitney Ridge Marina, Parsons Marina + Lofers Bend Park for lake activities! No lake access on property. The space Please note: Our home does not have direct access to get in the lake. We are however less than 5 minutes to a marina for boats, and less than 10 to swimming access. Located right on the cliffs of the lake with three decks, our home is furnished with electricity, hot water and air conditioning/heating. A large refrigerator, a keurig, gas stove, oven, and microwave can be found in the kitchen. We have cable, streaming services, and the Internet all available for your use as well! Whether you want to relax outdoors, or inside with a movie in our home theater, you're sure to find some great R+R at our home. Our home now features STARLINK internet, giving you fast + reliable speeds during your stay! Wake up with the sunrise, and you are guaranteed a concert from our local birds. Sit on one of our many decks during sunset and listen to the lake water hitting the cliffs. Or just stay up and look out at the big, bright starry Texas sky without all the city light. Whatever you choose, our home has views you can’t beat! The following will also be provided with your stay: Bed linens and pillows, King +Queen size, as well as one twin for the extra mattress Towels Shampoo/Conditioner Body wash/Soap Hand soap Hand sanitizer Grill (Propane is provided and already hooked up) Keurig with pods provided Plates, glasses, silverware, cooking utensils, pots and pans, bakeware, crock pot, insta pot, grilling utensils, a few spices, keurig coffee pods, tea, sugar, plastic wrap, foil, salt, pepper, oil, cooking oil Toilet Paper Paper towels x2 Rags/cloths for clean up Dish soap + dish washer detergent Cleaning supplies - disinfectant wipes, vacuums, brooms, trash bags Two outdoor fire pits, both have gas and wood provided. Laundry washer + dryer, plus soap to use for it Recycling The area is quiet and peaceful. It’s a great getaway for those who need an escape from the noise of city life! Guest access Our property is gated and the entrance code to our home will be provided on your check in date. Parking is available on site. If you plan to have more than five cars with your party, please let us know so we can direct your group to more parking. . Guests are free to access majority of our home. The only space you will not have access to is our garage. Other than that, our home is your home! Other things to note Please note AGAIN, this property does not have access to water. Please keep in mind before booking our property! Please be aware that there are some country dogs in the area. If you happen upon some, they are generally friendly and we have not had any issues with them. It is rare that it happens but it can. Cell phone service can be spotty in this area. We have never had an issue with our provider but some folks have mentioned their service cutting out when they arrive at our home. We do have WiFi once you arrive at our property. Since our home is located in more of a rural area, you’re likely to see more insects out and around our space, especially during the summer months. Make sure to bring your bug spray and keep the screen doors closed to our home! We do not have lake access from our home to swim, fish or boat BUT we are super close by a marina, about a 3 minute drive, where you can fish off their dock, or go boating. Lofers Bend Park is also a short 8ish minute drive from our house which offers a swimming area or boat access! We do not allow late check outs. If you are on the property past check out time, you will be charged a late fee. Also note, there are video surveillance cameras located on the property that are NON FUNCTIONAL and NOT connected.
