Once, when it was uninhabited, swallows lived there, and today, in summer, it is a spectacle to see them return to their place of origin every evening and fly close to the water to drink at the pool. Just as unique on May evenings is the spectacle of the fireflies' lights or the song of the crickets that give way to the cicadas, marking the hours of summer days; or the beautiful butterflies with unique colors in spring. The space A harmonious space, where you can breathe in art, from the paintings of the artists who are at home here for a vacation or in search of inspiration, to the sounds that are sometimes heard towards sunset from the piano of the owner Alessandro. An ideal place for couples or friends who love the beauty, culture and colors of the typical Tuscan countryside and who seek rest in the evening, after a visit to the beautiful nearby villages, which from here is an excellent opportunity to visit, given the location near the most beautiful cities and villages. DESCRIPTION The suite is inside a characteristic country house on two floors, located on the ground floor and is finely restored to preserve all its charm intact. It is accessed from the pool garden (which can be seen from the living room windows); it is equipped with all comforts: from air conditioning to insect nets on all windows, from free Wi-Fi to private parking, with the possibility of spending some moments by candlelight at the tables in the pool garden, perhaps tasting the wines or typical foods that you will have purchased in the places visited. The rooms of the suite (living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom) are independent spaces inside the house and for exclusive use. The pool garden is a common space available for guests. The double bed mattress is natural in anti-allergy and anti-mite latex. During your stay, Alessandro will be available for advice, tips on places to visit or alternative itineraries, to help you discover small shops of the past and typical places in the heart of each ancient village; to inform you about cultural events, shows, places to visit, concerts or art exhibitions, to show you where you can taste real Tuscan cuisine, wines (with visits to the cellars), sweets and quality Tuscan products. Everything to make your vacation special and unforgettable thanks to the beauty, art, scents and unique flavors of this wonderful land. LOCATION AND PANORAMIC VIEW From the windows of the house and the garden you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the typical Tuscan hill and the ancient medieval village of San Miniato, as far as Volterra, San Gimignano and the magical lands of Siena and Florence. The excellent location of the house allows you to be immersed in the typical Tuscan countryside, among hills of centuries-old olive trees and cypresses, and at the same time just a two-minute drive from the medieval historic center of San Miniato and a five-minute drive from the main roads towards Florence, Pisa, San Gimignano, Volterra, Lucca, Siena, Vinci or the typical wine and food streets (all places and cities reachable in just 30 minutes on average). The area allows you to move around easily thanks to the presence of the train station in San Miniato Basso connected with all the cities to visit. THE SUITE: THE ROOMS From the pool garden, the heart of this place, you enter the suite's living room, with sofa, tables and an antique piano (it serves as furniture, it is not possible to play it unless authorized by the owner, out of respect for the tranquility of the other guests in the other suites. The living room is connected to the large kitchen room, equipped with pantry furniture, fridge, oven, induction stove and everything you need (dishes, cutlery, pots). A small hallway leads to the bathroom and the double bedroom with a four-poster bed and a typical antique Tuscan wardrobe. DESCRIPTION OF THE TUSCAN FARMHOUSE OF WHICH THE HOUSE IS PART The house is part of an ancient Tuscan country farmhouse, finely restored and preserved in typical Tuscan style, divided into 5 large suites (between the ground floor and first floor), surrounded on all sides by centuries-old olive trees and relaxation areas. In the interiors, there are typical wooden beam ceilings and floors with old handmade terracotta bricks or wood, typical of the Tuscan farmhouse. Alessandro, the owner, lives in the same place and has equipped his house with a large swimming pool, by choice made without the use of cement, but with eco-sustainable materials and inserted with zero environmental impact, for the benefit of our health. By choice, few people are accommodated, the maximum capacity is four - five couples, to maintain an intimate, exclusive and as quiet as possible atmosphere. We are currently unable to accommodate pets and smoking is not allowed inside the homes. The property is equipped with Wi-Fi and private parking reserved for guests free of charge. NUMBER OF PEOPLE PER SUITE The location and small spaces are not suitable for hosting families with infants and children. Each suite can accommodate only one couple or in any case 2 people, who love and seek tranquility. We therefore ask that you do not book for 2 people and then show up as 3. It would not be possible to accept the reservation. Guest access Guests of Casa Toscana Love have access to: • The private and free parking lot of the entire property, to be shared with the owner and any other guests; • The pool garden, to be shared with any other guests; • All the internal rooms of your suite, which are for your exclusive use; • All other spaces (excluding the gardens and private entrances of the other suites). Other things to note The piano in the suite is for decorative purposes only. To keep it in good condition, do not place objects or things on it or play it (unless authorized by the owner).
