Welcome to Anthos, our charming resort nestled in the beautiful region of Abruzzo. The property features two elegant villas that share a central swimming pool, surrounded by lush gardens full of flowers and greenery. Set in a peaceful and relaxing area, Anthos offers the perfect balance between nature and convenience – just a short drive from both the sea and the mountains. It is located within my large olive grove, in a region renowned for its world-class wines and extra virgin olive oils. It consists of two independent but identical apartments, each featuring: a large living room with a fully equipped kitchen, sofa bed, additional sofa, and TV, two bedrooms, a modern bathroom with shower, a storage room, and a large furnished terrace, ideal for outdoor dining and relaxation. Guests have access to a saltwater swimming pool (12x6 meters), shared with the second villa, surrounded by greenery and perfect for cooling off and unwinding. The pool is open from April to September, heated by a solar thermal system, making it enjoyable even during the cooler months. The location is ideal for exploring every corner of Abruzzo: from the Gran Sasso to the Maiella, the Monti Gemelli, and the golden Adriatic beaches. A perfect base to discover the region’s natural beauty, culture, and authentic traditions. Guest access Our guests have full access to the entire garden surrounding the property, the swimming pool with hot tub, and the spacious sun deck equipped with gazebos, umbrellas, and sun loungers – perfect for relaxing under the sun in total peace. Each villa also has its own private outdoor area, furnished with a table, chairs, and comfortable outdoor sofas – ideal for open-air meals, evening drinks, or simply unwinding in nature. The pool is heated in spring and autumn thanks to a solar panel system, which raises the water temperature by up to 5°C (9°F), ensuring maximum comfort during the cooler months. Guests also have access to two large barbecues and a wood-fired oven – perfect for those who want to try making their own pizza (and we’ll be happy to help!). Between the two villas, there is a large play area equipped with a foosball table and ping-pong table, offering fun for both adults and children. Other things to note Abruzzo is still a hidden gem, not widely known abroad but incredibly rich in natural beauty and cultural heritage. This region truly has everything: the Adriatic Sea, gentle hills, majestic mountains, excellent cuisine, and high-quality local products such as wine, extra virgin olive oil, cheeses, and the famous arrosticini – all appreciated around the world. Fresh Adriatic seafood, along with local art and history, further enhances the experience. Many historical landmarks can be easily discovered by bike, just minutes from the villa. In summer, the area comes alive with a variety of local events and village festivals (sagre), where guests can enjoy authentic dishes in a lively and welcoming atmosphere. The property is part of a residence with 5 apartments, spread across two elegant villas with shared gardens and a swimming pool.
