Perched high above the Poowong Valley this newly renovated country cabin is nestled on 4 acres of lush farmland. If you are looking for a quiet & relaxing haven to escape & unwind from the hustle & bustle then this is it. A perfect base to launch your trips to Inverloch, the Prom, the wineries and farmers markets or simply driving tours of the beautiful South Gippsland countryside. This stylish house allows for a calm and soothing getaway in the quaint village of Poowong. The space Bimbadeen means "beautiful view" in the local aboriginal dialect. The home has 2 individual private bedrooms, a lounge room with stunning open fireplace and a kitchen/dining room. There is also a bathroom with a large rain shower, washing machine and toilet. The house is ideal for a relaxing get-together with a couple of friends but also it's perfect for just two to enjoy a romantic getaway. There are spectacular views in every direction from the open planned lounge/dining/kitchen which opens to an upper deck with hooded BBQ for alfresco dining and to simply relax and watch the meandering dairy cows in the river valley below. As the sun sets you can enjoy the view from the outdoor fire pit and afterwards head inside and roll down the extra large movie screen and transform the indoor lounge into your own private cinema. There is an overhead projector and a bluetooth speaker system so you can cast your favourite Netflix, AppleTV, Paramount etc shows or KAYO sports programs. We have a strict “no party” policy and additional guests above what you have booked are not able to stay overnight at the property, this includes additional children and babies. Guest access The sweeping tree-lined driveway opens to a large parking area and 1 undercover carpark. The Poowong Pub is an 8 minute easy stroll and the IGA supermarket just 2 minutes further. The towns of Loch and Korumburra are 10 and 15 minutes drive. Other things to note We provide basic cooking ingredients such as salt, pepper, oil that you are welcome to use. The 6 burner BBQ is great to cook up a storm and also has a hood so it’s easy to do a roast (there is also an air fryer). There is both a stovetop espresso coffee pot and a nespresso pod machine with coffee provided for both plus a great range of loose leaf teas.
