Villa Casa Madre: house at the ground floor for weekly or monthly rentals, with porch facing a vast green garden in the countryside of Versilia, few minutes from the centre of Pietrasanta and of Forte dei Marmi The space Once a stable of the old farmhouse, the ground floor flat has been carefully and professionally restored respecting the functionality of the original architecture. Furnished by the owners with taste and elegance, it is suitable for 6 people and has a large patio facing the garden with a splendid wooden table (for 20 people!) protected by wisteria pergola. The flat looks warm and familiar: while restoring the house particular attention has been taken of the internal finishing, such as the choice of colours and the harmonious coupling of the furniture with the traditional “cotto” pavements and wooden ceiling beams. A lovely arch in stone and brick separates the living room from the kitchen and the dining area, where there is a fireplace. Two panoramic windows, facing the wide patio, illuminate both the kitchen and the dining room, while patio and pergola are lovely, at sunset, for great aperitifs and dinners. Bedrooms are set in the rear side of the house to enjoy the nighttime breeze from the mountains. Guests can also use a big laundry and storage area in the basement. Bedroom number 1 has a queen size bed, bedroom number 2 has one bunk-bed while bedroom number 3 has two single beds that can be used as double bed. ATTENTION: The minimum stay for the period June-July is 30 nights. Tourist tax (1.50€/night for a maximum of 7 nights) is not included in the price and has to be payed at arrival in cash. Damage deposit: 500€ Guest access The huge garden is available for the hosts. 2 bicycles area also available Other things to note The area is very quiet and discreet, but in few minutes it is possible to reach Pietrasanta (1 km) and the beaches of Marina di Pietrasanta or Forte dei Marmi (4 km). The feature mostly appreciated by all my hosts is the silence you enjoy at night compared to the seaside area, where the noise from the numerous clubs is particularly annoying. Tuscany applies a tourist tax of 1.5€/day for a maximum of 7 days to each guest aged more than 12. This tax must be paid to the host in cash at the check-in. Furthermore a copy of the ID card or passport for each guest is requested for the Italian Police.
