Secluded cottage situated on the Stackpole National Trust Estate. The cottage is adjacent to Lily Ponds & within walking distance to award winning Barafundle Bay & Broadhaven beach. With the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path on the doorstep, guests can enjoy a multitude of walks direct from the cottage door. Our quirky rustic welsh styled cottage with unique furnishings has everything to make your stay enjoyable. A great base for couples or families to retreat & explore the best of Pembrokeshire. The space Cooper's Dip is a charming stone cottage situated just minutes from the Bosherston Lilyponds with easy access to both Barafundle Bay and Broadhaven beach. Mix of antique furniture with modern and functional facilities with all the equipment and extras any generation or group size could wish for to make your stay entertaining and interesting. Cosy up in Winter with board games by the log burner and hearty cooking after a refreshing walk along the Pembrokeshire coast. In the Summer you can spend days outdoors enjoying the sand between your toes. Although the cottage can sleep a maximum of 6 inc infants in three bedrooms, it is more suited to a maximum of 4 adults, plus 2 children but it is still cosy for a couple. Inside: The kitchen, living and dining areas are open plan. Living room: The living room has two fabric sofas and ottoman arranged around the wood burning stove and a flat screen TV. Hallway: Board games, books for children and adults. Maps and local interest books Kitchen: Ceramic hob, oven and grill Mini dishwasher Washing machine Dining: Dining table provides space for 6 people. Bedrooms: Bedroom 1: King bed Bedroom 2: two single beds Bedroom 3: kids bunk bed room Bathroom: Antique roll top bath and walk in shower. Separate toilet room. Gardens: Enclosed garden The plot is 1/3 acre, large lawn Barbecue Dining table with parasol and seating for 5 The setting: Located on the Stackpole National Trust Estate and Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the cottage is reached via the same lane as the Stackpole Walled Gardens. It's a rural, quiet location, ideal to get away from it all, but the towns of both Pembroke with its impressive castle and the busy seaside town Tenby are close by. The nearest neighbours are in the Stable Block on the other side of the lane. The cottage has a South East facing garden to the North East is the Lodge Park and Stackpole Court. The Bedrooms and Patio look south to countryside with Stackpole centre in the far distance. The gardens offer tranquility and privacy. Walking: Whether you want a short stroll or a refreshing ramble, Stackpole has miles (and miles!) of footpaths for you to enjoy from woodland walks or coastal paths. The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path was recently voted the second best walk in the world. An OS map is provided. Wildlife: Stackpole is recognised as a National Nature Reserve, recognised for abundant wildlife. Otters, kingfishers and woodpeckers live nearby in and around the Lily Ponds, while walkers along the coast often spot seals, dolphins, rare choughs and other sea birds. This part of Pembrokeshire is a is a peaceful haven of tranquility and wildlife. Activities: Cycling Walking Surfing, body boarding, kayaking Coarse Fishing (estate permits available 16 June - 15 March) Sightseeing - historic castles, gardens Shopping and dining in Pembroke, Tenby and Saundersfoot Included: Bed linens 1 towel per person (please bring beach towels) Available for use: Seasonings and oil for cooking Tea, coffee, sugar Cleaning products A starter basket of logs enough for one night is provided for the log burner. Guest access Coopers Dip Cottage has a key safe and when your booking is confirmed, you'll receive a personalised entry code which will work for the duration of your stay along with arrival guide and directions. You can then check in and out at a time that suits and come and go as you please. There is off-road private parking at the property for two cars and the gardens are for guests to enjoy! Other things to note During the peak season we have a Friday changeover, if the Friday is shown as free on the calendar, the following week will be too. Short breaks available out of peak season. A starter basket of logs is provided for the log burner. To keep the garden maintained, the gardener will be on site once a week to mow the lawn during the summer months. Dogs allowed by request and small fee applicable. Sadly due to the long gravel path and steps within the cottage it is not suitable for disabled.
