Oden Estate -Self sufficient flat, minutes to town

Oden Estate is working farmlet, yet only 3 minutes to Masterton, 6 minutes to Carterton and gateway to Mt Holdsworth. Set in tranquil surroundings down a tree-lined drive, with the majestic Tararuas as a back drop, with a stream at your back door and it's just a few minutes walk to the river. Our philosophy is sustainability and thus the flat is totally off-grid with a composting toilet. Oden Estate is great for those wishing to relax and unwind or as a central base for the many activities. The space The flat is off-grid, but totally self sufficient with a private entrance. It has a well equipped kitchenette and an upmarket composting toilet. The queen size bed is comfortable with an overhead reading light. All linen supplied. There is a 2 burner gas hob, fridge with icebox, microwave and toaster. All plates, pots, tea, coffee etc supplied. The bathroom is clean and modern. There is a drop leaf table, extendable, and a small computer nook. Guest access Guests have their own entrance by going to the right as directed by the parking sign. While the flat is attached to the main house, it is separated by two bays. There is ample parking. Other things to note Oden Estate is centrally located making it easy for you to experience the many exciting events hosted in the Wairarapa (hiking, wine and festivals, drags, Balloons, shows, Wings over Wairarapa etc)
