We live upstairs (or at our home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware). Since we do not live in the apartment, we rely upon our wonderful guests to let us know that an amenity listed is not in the apartment or is not working properly. We have found some of our commercial partners have had difficulty with inventory and have not been able to provide us some of the "extras" we like to extend to our guests and apologize if some "extra" is not available. It is a fully furnished apartment, spacious patio, and gas grill! The living room sofa is not for sleeping. The apartment is available for two adults. The bedroom has a very comfortable queen bed and tasteful furnishings, a stack of pillows, clean linen, mirrored wall closet, two nightstands. The bedroom is equipped with a desk for a laptop and workspace with good WIFI reception. Full kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, cookware, utensils, and dishwasher. Laundry closet with washer, dryer, Iron, and Ironing board. Full bathroom with glass-door enclosed shower/tub, mirrored medicine cabinet, hairdryer, and fresh towels. The cozy living room comes with a wood-burning fireplace (please ask for assistance before using), Mitchell Golds furnishings, a comfortable sofa for sitting NOT TO BE USED FOR SLEEPING, a glass-topped round table for 2, and an elegant leather armchair that will welcome you at the end of a long day. LED HDTV 32" flat-screen TV with voice-activated Comcast X1 On Demand cable service. Premium channels and free movies, and if a guest has an account several streaming services like Amazon Prime and Netflix will provide you with entertainment after a day of meetings or tour around the nation's Capitol. PLEASE respect our request that the sofa is not a bed for sleeping. (We have suffered the sofa being damaged before.) The charming apartment comes with a smoke detector and AC/Heating systems. THERE IS NO FREE PARKING SPACE FOR THE APARTMENT. Guest access Our guests have a private entrance to their apartment and shared access to our fully furnished backyard patio, which becomes a garden oasis from spring through fall. Due to our location, many neighborhoods and downtown are very walkable. DC has become bike-friendly with many rental locations and designated bike lanes. We have seasonal pricing subject to change.
