The apartment is located on the main street in Playa Chiquita, the quietest and safest area of Puerto Viejo, a few meters from the most beautiful beach in the Caribbean. The space The apartment is completely private and does not share spaces with other guests or with the owners except for the main entrance of the property. Is located inside a completely closed and secure property, surrounded by Caribbean nature where you can see birds, sloths and monkeys. It consists of the main room with a double bed with an orthopedic mattress and a double sofa bed, a bathroom, a kitchen area and a private porch overlooking the wonderful tropical garden. It is a completely brick construction in Mediterranean style, completely protected by mosquito nets that will keep all unwanted insects away. We always put all our work and our passion to offer the best accommodation for our guests. We do not charge cleaning costs but we invite you to respect this space and help us by leaving the apartment as clean and tidy as you found it. The area is very quiet and surrounded by nature, a perfect place to rest and relax. The beach, considered the most beautiful in the Caribbean, is a 5-minute walk from the apartment and is reached through a path surrounded by nature. Guest access The apartment is located in Playa Chiquita, a very well connected and accessible neighborhood where you can get everything you need within a couple of minutes walk. It's a very safe area so you can also go out at night and enjoy the nearby restaurants in peace. Near the house you will find several bicycle rentals, the best solution to get to the beautiful beaches of Puerto Viejo and enjoy the nature of the area. The house has a private covered parking inside the property, completely safe and accessible for all types of cars. We have an EV charger. Other things to note Despite the lush vegetation, we're in an area where there's a severe water shortage. We ask our guests not to waste this precious resource. Despite our best efforts, some insects can still find a way in because we're in a tropical location. We always put all our work and passion to offer the best accommodation for our guests. We invite you to respect this space and help us leave each space clean and tidy. We offer a place to rest and enjoy the nature and calm of the Caribbean: to guarantee this to all our guests, it is forbidden to listen to loud music at any time of day or night. We offer a laundry service for a cost of $10/bag (up to 4kg) per wash and dry. There are also several laundromats near the house to choose from. Tap water is officially potable. However, especially for guests who do not live here or are not used to drinking water in this part of the country, we recommend preferring bottled water when possible. We are currently doing some construction work on the property, so there might be some noise during the day, but never at night.
