Beautiful detached house, sleeps 13. 5 doubles 3 single beds. Safe village setting. 5m from Perranporth beach. 6m from Truro, 8m Newquay. In easy reach of all Cornish tourist attractions & beaches. 4 poster master suite with private lounge. Hot tub, Sauna, Pool Table, Table Tennis, Table Football, Darts, and Firepit. Outdoor bar, and much more. Family lounge, log burner & Sky TV (inc sports & movies). Private drive with parking for 5 cars. The space We have loved living at Kevran House for the last 10 years, it really is the family home that has something for everyone. It is very spacious yet very inclusive, we have had many family gatherings and BBQs during summer months. Marshmallows round the fire pit are always a hit with the kids! When the nights draw in the ambiance changes to one of laughter and making cosy memories round the log burner. The chest in the lounge has a selection of games to keep everyone occupied. 5 miles away to the north coast is Perranporth, with it's famous miles of beach. Here there is a surf school for those feeling adventurous :-) Newquay is about 7 miles, boasting more beaches and restaurants. Both Newquay and Perranporth have well renowned golf courses, however please book in advance to avoid disappointment. The capital of Cornwall, Truro, is just 6 miles away, with plenty of shops and smart restaurants. Further a field are all sorts of amazing places to visit, we have put a selection of tourism leaflets in the file, and we hope you have a fantastic stay :-) Tea and coffee is provided and there is a Nescafe 'Dolce Gusto' machine, please note the capsules for this aren't provided so you will need to bring your own :-) 13 Towels and 13 Hand towels are provided (1 per guest). If you feel you will need more please bring your own however there is a washing machine and tumble dryer so any laundry can be done during your stay. One set of keys is provided however there is a lockbox so if your group are going out separately we suggest the last to leave putting the key in the box, then it will be there for the first to return. The hot tub will be up to temperature and filled with clean fresh water in preparation for your stay. You can top up the water with the hose that is by the annexe backdoor in the garden. The hot tub has a chlorine tablet dispenser also so the water should stay clean for your stay however it can be emptied through syphoning if required via the black tubing located in the hot tub steps (they fold open). Please ensure the hot tub is turned off at the mains switch outside the conservatory door before emptying. The sauna is equipped with head rests, bucket and ladle, note oils aren't provided. Please note on account of health and safety we don't have our own travel cots, high chairs or stairgates. We recommend bringing your own if required :-) The property has ample parking for 5-6 cars on the drive. As Zelah has many residents but just one through road we respectfully ask you not to park on the road, as by doing so our neighbours have nowhere to park once they get back from work. Thank you for your understanding with this. Please note we aren't dog friendly as we have encountered issues with the next guests having allergy problems in the past. There are however local kennels available if this is an issue: Crestlands Boarding Kennels, Briggan Farm and Rowes Pet Hotel are all within 15 miles of the property so allow for your pet to be easily dropped off on your way to the property. The electric gates to the drive are disconnected and set permanently open, this is so there are no awkward 'stuck in' moments in the unlikely event of a powercut! There is a camera looking over the drive, the purpose of this is so we can see when guests leave and can then start the next changeover early when possible. The garage is not for guest use, we use this for storage of items required for property maintenance. The bbq is provided mid April to September, it is coal (not provided). Please bring instant light bags available at all supermarkets if you wish to use the bbq :-) Guest access Our guests have the use of the full property, there is ample off road parking for 5 - 6 cars on the drive. Other things to note A few small points to be aware of at the property: There are 2 shallow ponds in the garden. Please can you ensure that children (especially toddlers) are supervised so they don't go into the water. Please ensure the hot tub lid is secured after use, in case of high winds. Equally if you can take down the parasol umbrellas on the picnic tables after use that is much appreciated :-) We have put an awful lot of work into the garden, please enjoy it respectfully. Several ashtrays are provided so that butts do not end up in the flower beds. Thank you for your help here :-) There is a suction black out blind in the drawer of the single bedroom in case the skylight is too bright (this is possible during the summer months). Simply attach it to the window :-) The bbq is provided between the months of April and September. Apart from those things have a wonderful stay and we hope you come back in the future! Susi & Sam xx
