Curated Southwest Inspired Cabin, Studio & Sauna

Camino Chueco Cabin is a two bedroom, one bath 1963 cabin, tucked into the woods of Mount Hood National Forest. The structure was entirely renovated in 2019, with added exterior property experiences. The cabin was designed with a dreamy, high-desert meets Pacific Northwest inspired aesthetic. The rooms are decorated with a careful assemblage of found objects from Oregon and New Mexico and functional furniture which opens onto a deck patio, overgrown with native plants and towering trees. Inspired by the desire to move at a slower pace, my hope is that you tune into every moment of your stay when selecting the perfect ceramic mug for pinon coffee, enjoying a chilly morning on the porch, or relaxing next to the fire pit with loved ones surrounded by trees and a starry night sky. A lockbox code allows self check in. Other things to note Of importance: The sauna is presently closed due to Covid-19. This cabin has one parking spot. This vehicle must not have trailers, travel trailers, recreational vehicles or boat(s) attached . This cabin has a max of 4 people in total, children included. This cabin isn’t an ideal place for visitors as there is no additional parking. With that said, parties are not allowed. Due to the minimal ventilation system in the kitchen, complex and fragrant meals are not recommended. As seen in the imagery, we do not have blinds or curtains in the living / dining room space. There are curtains in both bedrooms. Due to the fact we share a well system with two other homes, electric and water use for the washer and dryer is limited to one wash and one dry per stay. We provide a single laundry pod and dryer sheets. Please pack and plan accordingly.
