Lovely mountain cabin only 5 minutes from Bass Lake and North Fork, only 45 minutes from the South Gate of Yosemite. The drive to the southern gate of Yosemite National Park is around 45 minutes. Yosemite traffic is VERY HEAVY during summertime and holiday weekends. WINTER WARNING: THE CABIN IS ON A ROAD THAT IS NOT PLOWED IN WINTER. AFTER A SNOW STORM, YOU WILL NEED A CAR THAT IS WELL SUITED TO DRIVING IN SNOW. IT IS ALSO BEST IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE DRIVING IN SNOW. There are several off-leash dogs in the neighborhood. They are quite friendly and will usually go away if you tell them to "go home". Reservations required to enter Yosemite during peak hours, please visit Yosemite National Park's website for more information. We are required to stick to our cancellation policy and we suggest adding trip insurance for any last minute issues that may impact your travel (Weather, Illness, etc). We are not able to cancel, move or refund bookings that do not fall in our cancellation policy for any reason Guest access The entire house. Other things to note Please conserve energy. Nighttime temperatures are lovely. Consider turning off the air conditioners and opening the windows at night. Important Note About Power Outages For your safety, utility companies may occasionally shut off power in mountain areas during high fire-risk conditions. While this is a precaution to help prevent wildfires, we understand it can be an inconvenience. To ensure your comfort during these times, we provide battery-powered lanterns and phone chargers for your use. Please note that as these outages are beyond our control, we are unable to offer refunds related to power shut-offs. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
