Many activities are within a short walk or ride to include: Watauga Lake, many hiking trails with entrances to the Appalachian Trail nearby. Located in the mountains of NE Tennessee this private cottage is easily accessed by US321 and within walking distance of Fish Springs Marina. The cottage is separate from our Real Estate office with private deck and parking. We are available 24/7 for emergencies or daily at our Real Estate office and home next door to the cottage. Watauga Lake is advertised as the third cleanest lake in the U.S., Cherokee National Forests surrounds the lake with approximately 25% of the land in private ownership.The highest altitude of the TVA lakes at an elevation of 1960', Watauga Lake is fed by mountain streams from North Carolina and Tennessee. Our cottage is located on US321, although a rural setting the highway can be busy, most traffic occurs in the morning and evening hours and during weekends, holidays and race weekends. Pets are welcome with a $25 non-refundable pet fee.
