Top floor flat with balcony in trendy East London

A one bedroom, top floor flat with stunning views across London, situated in trendy East London. Perfect location for Westfield Stratford, the Olympic Village, Excel London and short journey to the 02. The space A home from home! It’s a light and spacious apartment with large rooms and plenty of homely touches. The view from the balcony shows you all of Stratford, Canary Wharf and the city, which is particularly beautiful at night. Ideal for individuals, couples or groups of up to 4 people looking for a unique and authentic stay in London, away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of town, with excellent transport links. There are many local underground stations: Plaistow (5min walk): District Line connecting to Tower Hill, Embankment, Westminster, Victoria, Richmond and Wimbledon. West Ham (20min walk) & Canning Town (9min bus): Jubilee Line connecting to Greenwich, London Bridge, Waterloo, Green Park and Baker Street. Stratford (9min bus): Central Line connecting to Bank, St Paul’s, Oxford Circus, Bond St, Westfield London and Notting Hill, and Overground Trains to Hackney, Highbury and Islington and Hampstead Heath. Custom House (10min bus): Elizabeth Line connecting to Canary Wharf, Liverpool Street, Tottenham Court Road, Paddington and Heathrow Airport. It is also close to Excel London (20 minutes) and The ABBA Arena (6 minutes). There is one comfortable double bedroom with a beautiful king size bed and views of Stratford and East London at the front of the building. The lounge has a sofa bed that is smaller - only a double - and of course, being a sofa bed, is not as comfortable as a normal bed. But it does the job if you would like to use it. I usually recommend one adult or two children sleep on it, but two adults can fit too. Extra bedding will be left out for groups requiring the sofa bed (please let me know in advance). The lounge and kitchen are both south facing with large windows and patio doors looking out on to the city. The balcony gives you panoramic views of East London, Canary Wharf and the city. There is also an elevator in the building and secure, fob-only entry. For security there is a buzzer system in the flat itself, a ring doorbell, spy hole and a latch on the front door. Please note this is my personal home, so if you are seeking a 5-star hotel experience, this is not the place for you! However, if you would enjoy a home away from home, you’ve found it. I have lots of personal decorative items and plants dotted around the place - guests always comment on how nice the decor is - but it does mean guests need to be very considerate of their surroundings and not have parties or any unauthorised guests. This is not the apartment to book if you wish to have a party - there are lots of breakables, no room for more than 4 guests, and my neighbours and I are a tight knit community and no antisocial noise will be tolerated. I stay nearby and will arrive to terminate your stay if I hear reports of loud music or unauthorised guests. However, if you wish to enjoy my home as a comfortable haven to return to after visiting London, then for your stay I will provide all the home comforts you could need - such as cooking utensils, condiments, herbs and spices, washing machine & detergents, dishwasher & tablets, toiletries, a huge 60’ TV screen and all the tea and coffee you can drink! I'm looking for respectful guests who will take care of my belongings as if they were their own, and in return will enjoy a comfortable home with delightful personal touches, an attentive host and plenty of home comforts. I am also aware that accidents can happen, so if an item is broken, please do let me know during your stay so I have time to rectify it before the next booking. Guest access The kitchen has all modern appliances including a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, dishwasher and washer/dryer for you to use. Dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent, towels, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are provided. There is a standing dryer to hang washing out to dry. I will provide clean bed sheets and towels and there is a hairdryer available. Please help yourself to any food or drink left for you. There is an outdoor rug and some floor cushions to use on the balcony, but please bring them back inside after use so they do not suffer rain damage. Other things to note I welcome your pets, too! Cats and small dogs are welcome and the balcony is safe for them to use. I am very close to a number of parks, the biggest being West Ham park which is a dog’s dream! Free parking is available 3 minutes away on Routemaster Close. Unfortunately no parking is available on site as all the bays are private.
