Deluxe Twin Room Two: ON THE MEKONG RESORT

The Deluxe Twin Room is a large and very comfortable room with a beautiful, modern en suite bathroom. This room can accommodate either 1 or 2 guests. Our Resort has 19 houses, all carefully restored. Our 2 Deluxe Twin Rooms are the same size and next to each other. The rooms have a porch that looks across to the Mekong River. Cooked Breakfast is included each day, and guests have free use of the entire property. Welcome to our peaceful property - a tranquil sanctuary on The Mekong. The space On The Mekong is unique in Luang Prabang. It took twelve years to build, and homes from Lao ethnic villages were brought from across the country and rebuilt on our large land on The Mekong. The Deluxe Twin Rooms are full of art and warm decorations, as well as all the practical things you would hope to find. We have a number of different rooms available through Airbnb, including a Honeymoon Suite, two apartments, and a number of different rooms - feel free to explore! Other things to note Our property adjoins the Baan Khoy Temple, called Vat Baan Khoy. The monks ring the morning bells for about one minute each day around 5am before they begin their walk to collect alms. We also have some resident roosters who sporadically sound off around sunrise. And we have an elementary school nearby the property - young Lao children start to arrive at school at 7:40am and they laugh and run and play. These are the normal, happy sounds of a real village. If you are terribly bothered by monks, roosters, or young Lao kids messing around before school, our place may not suit you. Lao is an early to bed / early to rise country. We hope you enjoy the sounds and rhythm of our village. It's the real deal, and it has real deal sounds too!
