A friendly family run complex of five gites, recently renovated from a 19th century 5-acre Charentais farm with large fenced, heated swimming pool, surrounded by a sea of vineyards in the heart of Cognac country, in the Charente region of sw France The space The farmers house, situated in a typically Charentais courtyard. This single storey cottage has 3 bedrooms; a double, a twin and a single. This is where we used to live but this cozy gite became too small for us 7 but is perfect for 5. 3 good sized bedrooms, comfortably sleeping 5 King size bed in main bedroom (160 x 200) Bathroom with bath/shower Open plan lounge/diner Well equipped kitchen including cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, mixer, coffee machine etc Also, Wifi, TV, DVD, hair dryer, bed linen, kitchen linen, towels, washing machine, BBQ and private terrace area with garden furniture Other things to note Tourist tax - €1 per night, per adult
