Woodbox is a comfortable and stylish 2 bedroom, dog friendly house, close to wineries, cafes and Healesville Sanctuary. In the township of Healesville, in a quiet location with a glimpse of a mountain and vistas of green, the house offers a peaceful getaway in the heart of the Yarra Valley. The space The rustic but idyllic house is a cosy and stylish stay for couples, friends and small families and dogs (by prior arrangement) Inside there is a mix of wood and colour and eclectic and treasured furnishings to provide warmth and comfort, a home away from home. We’d love to share our weekender with you! There is a large couch for lounging, Smart TV, DVD player and a great selection of books, and DVDS to keep you entertained. The main bedroom has a king size bed with quality linen, the 2nd bedroom a queen. The kitchen which opens to the lounge area is complete with dishwasher, oven, stove top, full size fridge, espresso machine, microwave and a great range of cookware. Fresh ground Silva coffee, organic teas, oil, salt and pepper are provided for your stay. The balcony, accessed by double glass doors has a kettle BBQ and outdoor living. The contemporary styled bathroom has a spa bath and seperate shower. There are split systems in the living area and main bedroom for heating and cooling, ceiling fans and electric heater in the 2nd bedroom and bathroom. A Port-a-cot with linen is available for an extra fee and a highchair is at the house. We welcome children however our kids are grown up now and the house is not set up specifically for “little ones”. The kitchen has open shelves with no doors and supervision may be required on the balcony. Outside is a large fenced garden and dogs who follow our house rules are most welcome. Please message me prior to booking to let me know about size, number of dogs and breed. Guest access Exclusive access to house and car park within the property. Note for 2 guests there is linen in one bedroom only. If you are 2 guests and require use of both bedrooms there is a $30 charge for linen and you need to let me know prior to your stay.
