This apartment could not be better situated - numerous cafés, restaurants, boutique stores, delis, supermarkets, convenience stores and even gyms are right on your doorstep. The apartment is beautifully and stylishly furnished with just a hint of playfulness and includes a number of items that we have picked up around the world during our travels. It is located on the first floor overlooking a courtyard in a secured apartment complex that is locked and closed to public traffic every night. This one-bedroom apartment has several large windows, making it feel open. The apartment, with its polished timber floors, has been decorated with style and flair, but with the utmost in convenience and comfort in mind. No mention of Potts Point ever fails to include the wonderful variety of restaurants, cafés and bars – some of Sydney’s best – all within walking distance of our apartment. Our apartment is located directly opposite the landmark El Alamein Fountain (see photos) and Fitzroy Gardens, which hosts an excellent Farmers’ Market on Saturdays. Around the corner sits the infamous and popular Kings Cross strip, with its bright lights and busy nightspots. Also within walking distance of our apartment are a number of landmarks and must-see tourist sites, including the Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour, Circular Quay and the Art Gallery of NSW. The Central Business District, Oxford Street, Paddington, Surry Hills and other shopping sites are a short walk away, as are the beautiful parks of Elizabeth Bay and Rushcutters Bay. Beaches, including the world-renowned Bondi Beach, are just a short drive or bus ride away. A tourist information booth with all the information you need is located just one minute away from our doorstep. To get around, the Kings Cross train station is only a three-minute walk away, as are a number of bus stops. Although we’re pretty certain you won’t need a car in this neighbourhood, if you do want to venture further out, a number of GoGet share cars are right outside our door and along the side streets. They often work out cheaper than car rental places and even accept drivers with foreign licenses. We will try our best to be flexible if you require an early arrival or a late checkout, depending on whether we have guests arriving before or after you – just ask!
