Annexe close to Hayle’s great beaches, St Ives Bay

Quiet annexe in a separate part of our house at the end of a cul-de-sac. Well behaved dogs welcome, throws provided for sofa. Close to the fabulous Hayle beaches. Enter the annexe via own entrance, off street parking, double bed and separate living area with a kitchenette (fridge, 2 ring electric hob, microwave, toaster), fold out dining table/workspace and storage. NO OVEN OR FREEZER IN ANNEXE WiFi and Sky TV Milk, tea & coffee provided on arrival. Great for exploring West Cornwall The space We are a quick 5 minute drive to Porthkidney beach which is dog friendly all year round and a 10 minute drive to the popular surf beach at Gwithian (also dog-friendly). The bay is complemented by the well known landmark of Godrevy lighthouse where there are National Trust car parks. The South West coast path including the Carnsew Pool runs behind the house along with the RSPB Hayle estuary, famous for spotting egrets, oyster catchers, red shanks etc. It is a short walk to Foundry Square in Hayle with plenty of local amenities and restaurants available. There are several food serving pubs close by and a variety of Cafés. Guest access Parking is on the drive directly outside the annexe, we do not have facilities to charge electric vehicles but there is a charging point locally. Plenty of easy parking around Hayle, free and pay & display. Most beaches have pay & display car parks - parking is free at Gwithian beach 31st Oct-31st March. Other things to note Well behaved dogs welcome, £20 per stay, payable when booking through air bnb. Throws provided for the sofa. We can put a crate up for your dog if required to save you bringing yours. We do not accept cats. We live in the main house and usually aim to be here when you check in but if we are not here check in is via a key safe, the code is changed between guests and will be sent to you via the air bnb app prior to your arrival. Good access to all the best surfing beaches, safe area provided for surf boards or bike storage if required. North Quay beach is approximately a 15/20 minute flat walk. Carnsew Pool and estuary are directly behind the house, ideal short stroll in the evening (sadly no view from the annexe). All local beaches are within a short drive and have parking. All linen and towels are washed at 60 degrees in hypoallergenic Ecover products. All crockery, cutlery, saucepans and utensils are dish washed between guests, The hair dryer and iron are also sanitised. We ask that you please leave the windows open when you check out (unless it is raining hard). And please leave on time, 10am, to allow us to start preparing for our next guests.
