The passing ships are the most important part of the decor of this apartment, located on the top floor of a modern building with huge glass windows. Enjoy a morning coffee on a terrace, watching giant ocean cruisers entering the harbor. The location is perfect for people who need to be walking distance close to the heart of the city, while avoiding the tourist crowds. There is private underground parking, heated floors, elevators, fully equipped kitchen, and laundry inside the apartment. The space The apartment has a large living room with sofa-bed and balcony. The sliding wooden pannels permit to isolate the living room from the rest of the space and even create one small additional room. Guest access Underground parking for one car is available for guests. Please let me know your arrival plans one day in advance. We usually let guests self check-in via a lockbox. Other things to note Please keep the keys safe. The garage is suitable for any type of car but requires some skills with clutch as the ramp is pretty steep. The entire building, including our apartment, uses a capillary tube radiant cooling system, where chilled water is circulated through a network of ultra-thin polymer tubes embedded in ceilings. It provides an energy-efficient, draft-free, and silent cooling. The system is activated automatically when the outside temperature exceeds 23C. It has a slow response time, however, compared to other systems: due to the thermal mass of the plaster the tubes are embedded in, the system takes longer to adjust room temperatures.
