Welcome to Chestnut Manor! This 1929 Historic Home is located in downtown Lansing, a short walk from the state capitol and less than ten minutes from downtown East Lansing. This newly renovated two bedroom unit will provide you with as comfortable of a stay as Lansing has to offer! The space Our two bedroom and one bathroom apartment is fully furnished and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Unwind after a long day on queen size memory foam mattresses and put the blinds down if you'd like to sleep in without being bothered by sunlight. Please be aware, the building operates on steam heat and while very efficient, it can be very rackety while it kicks on. The noise subsides quickly but If you are a light sleeper, or traveling with an infant, it could be bothersome at night. We provide earplugs and a fan to help drown out the noise if needed. Enjoy the outdoors in our garden on the side of the house! Please, do not use the fireplace or have any fires on the property. This is not a party or event space. Please treat the property with care and follow the rules. Guest access The building is a shared space, but the entire two bedroom apartment will be yours. Parking is available in the back of the property. We have two spots available in our carport and one uncovered spot for larger SUV’s and trucks. Uber and Lyft are both available in the area. Doordash, Postmates, Grubhub, Ubereats, and Instacart all deliver to this property as well. There is coffee and food within walking distance of the property if you'd prefer to explore on foot! Other things to note Early checkin/late check out: We will always do our best to accommodate these requests, but we cannot guarantee it if we have other guests before or after. We can usually at least let you drop your bags off if you'd like to explore the area before your check-in time.
