Since the host has just one room to let: ➤ You are always the special VIP guest who gets all her personalised attention. ➤ You will not just have a clean & a beautiful room, but also the warm hospitality by the lady (your host) whose 30 year-long job at a 5-star Hotel in Delhi was teaching and maintaining hospitality standards. ➤ This residential colony is exclusive and quiet, making it a peaceful haven in a chaotic city. ➤ Experience Delhi's posh locality surrounded by heavenly-lush greens. The space The Room: ▶ A large room, 14ft.x20ft. with an attached bathroom - no tub, but a powerful shower. ▶ The bedroom has a very-very-comfortable-kingsized-bed with attractive bed linen. ▶ It's on a low-rise 2nd floor - very gradual steps. ▶ Bath-towels and hand-towels and sponge cloths are provided in the bathroom which is equipped with hot and cold running water (a geyser for the hot water), and a shaving socket. ▶ It has a writing desk with a TV, a dressing table, a rocking chair, two bedside tables - set up with 2 flasks of boiled, chilled drinking water. ▶ There is cable TV, enough electrical sockets for charger connections, and Wi-fi. ▶ It has a cupboard with 4 shelves and a lockable drawer. ▶ A small electronic safe and a hair-dryer. ▶ A full-length mirror is provided in the bathroom. ▶ The room's glass front overlooks 3 acres of green cover which provides an effective noise block. The Society: ▶There is a lovely fountain in the centre of the colony, expansive green lawns and low rise buildings in this gated haven.....which are regularly sprayed for mosquitos! Guest access You are very welcome to use: ▶ The nicely appointed drawing-cum-dining room with it's bookshelves stocked with India Travel Guides, Delhi monument guides and a Food Guide. ▶ This lounge area is air-conditioned in summer with window units, and heated in winter. ▶ A spiral staircase leads up to the terrace garden, equipped with wooden garden furniture amid many, many plants of all descriptions. ▶ You are welcome to smoke here, as well as sip your evening tea, coffee or cocktails! During your stay ▶ A welcome soft drink and a quick tour around your room is definitely given at any time of the day or night. ▶ Many flights come into Delhi after the witching hour, so I personally am available to check guests in 24x7. ▶ Check-out is at mid-day (12 noon). Other things to note ➀ You will have your own flat key so that you can let yourselves in at anytime. ➁ It's my home too, And there is full time help who enjoys "a tip" if you are pleased with the service. ➂ The only other thing to note is that your Delhi Metro terminal is Kashmere Gate, and EXIT NO.4 which is marked "Sham Nath Marg" . ➃ You turn left, on the surface of the Metro, then left again, and a prominently marked "OBEROI APARTMENTS" is indicated between the two petrol pumps one on either side of the imposing wrought iron gates marked Curzon House, 1903.
