Cosy Garden Cottage with Solar Power Wi-Fi

Our Cosy Garden Cottage is one of the best Airbnbs in Westdene, Johannesburg, South Africa. We offer Solar Powered Wi-Fi so no disconnection in load shedding and back up water when water is low. Our self-catering in Johannesburg is close to trendy Melville, Auckland Park and main tourist attractions. Our safe accommodation has off-street parking. The cottage has a separate entrance and comprises one bedroom with two single beds, full kitchen, bathroom with shower and a small private garden. The space Our cosy garden cottage is separate to the main house and has its own entrance. The entrance welcomes you to the open plan dining and sitting room area that has a magnificent high ceiling with exposed roof beams. The high ceiling helps to keep it cool in summer and there is a fan to keep the air moving. The freestanding gas heater keeps the sitting room warm in the winter months. From the sitting-room/lounge area there are north-facing double glass doors that open out onto a pretty courtyard garden that is private. There are a table and two chairs which makes it a perfect spot to enjoy the first cup of coffee for the day. Cushions for the chairs can be found in the cupboard in the bedroom. The pots lining the courtyard have seasonal fresh herbs for the decerning cook. There is also a barbeque (braai) available but please provide your own wood or charcoal. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, stove and oven, washing machine, iron and ironing board, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. There are complimentary coffees, teas and rusks. In the corner cupboard, there are some basic cooking supplies like oil, salt, pepper and some herbs and spices. The bedroom has two single beds made up with high quality 100% cotton percale linen. Two pillows on each bed, one hard and one feather. In the cupboard hangers and a hairdryer are supplied. There is a wall panel heater that keeps the bedroom cosy during the winter months. The en-suite bathroom is small but ample with a hot water shower, basin and a flushing toilet. Two bath towels and hand towels are provided as well as toilet paper and complimentary soap. Guest access Access to the property is through the driveway roller gate that is shared with the host. Guests will be given their own remote control to operate the gate and are therefore free to come and go as they please. There is a lockbox available for self-check-in. At this time we encourage all our guests to make use of this facility to promote recommended social distancing practice. We have off-street parking available for one vehicle in front of the left green garage door. Our vehicle entrance has a height limit of 2.1 metres (6.9 ft). The cottage is in a separate building to the main house and has its own entrance. We may see you come and go if we are in our garden but once you are in the cottage your space is private and you have your own private garden. Other things to note We have two friendly cats on our property.
