Lovely Nest (studio apartment)

Be our guest in this cozy home, surrounded by nature and peace and yet still a 20 minute drive to Dal Lake, and around 15 to Shalimar garden and other botanical gardens. All guests will be welcomed with famous kashmir drink 'Kahwa'. You voiced it, we heard you! We recently updated our high speed broadband internet (upto 150 Mbps) this will ensure that our guests will have reliable, and fast internet that will allow them to work and stay in touch with the world from their home (Lovely Nest). The space About this space : Welcome to our charming retreat, in a peaceful and safe neighborhood, while conveniently located at just a 20-minute drive from Dal Lake and close proximity to other tourist spots in Srinagar. My family and I live downstairs and you will be staying in a studio on the first floor. Perfect place for a family holiday. Take back with you memories of quality time spent with your family and friends. It has a scene and scenic environment surrounded by the lush green mountains giving one the true feel of nature. On your arrival: All guests will be welcomed with the famous kashmir drink 'Kahwa'. Guest access Guest access: The rooms are well furnished, well lit and ventilated, including a big studio with a kitchenette and attached washroom. Bedroom: Double bed, sofa, work table with chair, one extra bed, coffee table and chairs, fans, LED TV - (with 150+ channels). Additional blankets and bedding can be provided on request. During winters : Electric blankets for beds and a gas heater are additionally provided. Kitchen: Gas stove with all utensils, running hot water for washing utensils during winters and basic ingredients to cook such as salt ,sugar and spices. Any additional equipments can be provided. Grocery/ Vegetable shops are 50m away from the home and can be purchased from there. We can also purchase them for you if informed in advance. Food: You can cook your own food in the provided kitchen. Swiggy/Gatoes/Zomato works and delivers to our home. I can also provide you with Vegetarian / non vegetarian food at nominal costs if informed ahead of time. Washrooms have geysers attached for hot water. Microwave - Make sure to clean after using it. Refrigerator - Cannot store alcoholic drinks. Washing machine & dryer (common) - we will provide detergent for your laundry. Parking - There is space to park one car free of charge. Garden area: There is a swing to sit on and a coffee table with chairs that you can use. You can even work from there as wifi is available throughout the property. Wifi internet - We have Airtel broadband(150 mbps) that will help you seamlessly connect to multiple devices. Jio 5G/ Airtel 5G signal is strong and works well in our area. If you require any additional assistance during your stay or have any special request, feel free to let us know. Other things to note 1. Out-of-state guests should keep in mind that pre-paid phones will not work in Kashmir but you will have access to high-speed WiFi! ( Either convert prepaid to post paid using full KYC in your state before arrival or purchase a sim here) 2. We have additional rooms that can be provided for bigger groups at additional cost. 3. Please remove your shoes upon entering. Do not wear shoes inside the house. 4. Alcohol is strictly prohibited. 5. Smoking is not allowed. 6. Locals are not allowed. 7. Please treat our space with the respect you'd show to a friend or family member.
