Description
BEACH LIVING AT ITS BEST! We are within 400 metres (1/4 mile) of the beach and there is a wonderful magnesium pool for a quick dip too! The Esplanade in Hervey Bay is 17km along the beach front! You can stroll the esplanade or rent bikes and take in the 14km pathway of bush & beach. Or relax around the pool or in our private, pretty garden where cooling ocean breezes and birdsong abound. You are secure and private behind electric gates ... lots of surprises too! The space This quirky, unique 66 m² apartment is brand spanking new in July 2020-. The floors are all polished concrete and the furnishings and furniture are customised and one of a kind. There is no air conditioning yet but ceiling fans and a high velocity pedestal fan too! There is strong Wi-Fi available during your stay. Instant gas hot water and gas hotplates too! There is everything you could want in the kitchen including a dishwasher and a 7.5 kg front loading washing machine. Guest access You will have free and private access to the entire pool and alfresco area and your own parking space. You are invited to share the entire front gardens too! The alfresco area around the swimming pool is there for your personal enjoyment. I will not invade your privacy around the pool. I believe you can count on having a wonderful time during your stay! Other things to note There are literally dozens of coffee shops, restaurants, clubs, pubs and some great markets ... all on your doorstep on our beautiful esplanade or nearby. Willing to share our favourites!! In fact I have done in my GUIDEBOOK. After booking please read it for the top rated recommendations. One of the best swimming beaches (Shelly Beach) is 400 metres from your door. Car & bicycle hire is a pleasant 1km (1000 yards) walk along the foreshore away. Heritage listed Fraser Island is very accessible from Hervey Bay and is so worth a day trip! Fraser Island is best experienced behind the wheel of a 4X4. Taking a 4 wheel drive vehicle around the world's largest sand island is a unique and incredible experience. With the wheel beneath your hands and sand beneath the tires, you will finally get to know what all the excitement is all about! If you are unable or unwilling to drive around the island, don't fret! Enjoying it all passenger-side is pretty awesome, too! Try a guided tour, or just enjoy being a passenger on a tag-along tour. You will still get to see all the cool places and get to experience the bump and grind of Fraser Island. The ferry and barge are both vehicle and passenger ferries which depart from River Heads near Hervey Bay. Only four-wheel drive vehicles are permitted on the island and you will need to get your permit beforehand if you plan to take your own vehicle. And if you’re here in winter then of course you’ll be going on a whale watching tour. You may also see dolphins as a side bonus! There are many 5 star companies that will take you on a 4-5 hour tour in a fast catamaran for around $100 per person. The whale watching operators have already reinvented their tours so that they are COVID-19 safe. Many of them will pick you up in a courtesy vehicle from here too!
