Beautiful Guesthouse, in the best spot of Loosdrecht! Magnificent location straight at the Vuntus Lake. Situated on the boarder of a Nature Reserve and recreational lakes. Close to city life 30 min from Amsterdam center and airport. Perfect for renting a boat or supping. Sailingschool Vuntus next door. Restaurants on walking distance. Perfect for leisure time, shopping and breathing the culture of Holland. Note: NOT suitable for younger kids; open water! Kids from age up 10 are welcome! The space This newly built 65m2 guest house gives you a sense of calm and comfort. It has a lovely living room with gas fireplace, with beautiful views over the Vuntus lake. The whole cottage is efficiently furnished using beautiful materials. The kitchen is small but equipped with every comfort; ice machine, gas stove, oven and a Nespresso machine. Hand towels, bath towels and bedding are provided. There is underfloor heating in the living room. Bedroom 1 also has a TV and plenty of closet space. Bedroom 2 has a large bunk bed with high-quality mattresses suitable for adults. Both bedrooms have a window with a blackout blind. A separate stove can be requested. In front of the cottage there is a lovely seat to enjoy the phenomenal view. Feel free to use the SUPs or to play table tennis! PLEASE NOTE! The water is not blocked off; children must have their swimming diplomas and stay at their own risk! Various life jackets available. Bikes can be rented on request (2 all-round MTBs 35 euros per bike per day). Longer-term rental possible, please contact the host. The garden is shared with us as the owner; with good weather, entertainment of our children (13 & 16) on the lawn is therefore possible! If you have older children yourself, they will soon be involved in the game, which can be a cozy interpretation of the day/evening! ⚽️ 🏸 🛶 🚤 🌊 🌞 Guest access Welcome to the jetty for sunbathing, paddleboarding, fishing or swimming! By the waterfront, there is a seat for guests, as well as a bench to enjoy the view. (The benches on the wooden deck are private!) On request, the gas barbecue can be used; request at least one week in advance; extra costs €25) There is a small gate on the street, but at the indicated time the gate will be opened for private entrance by car. Visitors can park near the kennel and enter the guesthouse over the grass. Due to the open water, it is less suitable for a stay with small children. Age from 12 years is recommended. Other things to note Due to the Open Water, the GuestHouse is not suitable for little children! Age from the age of 12 is recommended for safety. On our own grounds there is a dog (walk loose if no problem) and a cat. These never come in the guest house. Please leave the gas fireplace on for a few hours only in the evening hours! Thanks! The sofas under the Pergola on the water side are PRIVATE please do not use them. The space for the Guesthouse & water side is full use of our guests. Table, sofa & 2 sunbeds plus BBQ.. Our children, aged 15 and 17, can sometimes play soccer on the lawn. If there are children, they will involve the kids on their own! Young people can also catch up with boats and enjoy the beautiful water for a while! This will not bother you. We try to leave guests to themselves, or, if preferred, to involve as much as possible. Use gas bbq €35 one time per visit. Waterfront Lodge refers to South Africa, CapeTown, hence there are some trophies hanging on the wall. These have been purchased for and by the local neighborhood community.
