A unique rental; all four bedrooms have their own private bathroom, entertainment center and fridge. The rest of the house gives plenty of space to spread out, multiple rooms that work well for family or business. The kitchen is top end and organized, The host is gracious and kind, quick to respond to any need or question. A unique spot to stay in the Twin Cities; a peaceful urban neighborhood, short drive to MSP airport, the Mall of America and both downtowns. The space This beautiful brick historic home is a Clarence H. Johnston original and it shows. Built for the Gregg family in 1896 it sits beautifully among the other historic homes in the Ramsey Hill Historic District also known as Cathedral Hill. The Greggs were new rich in 1896, iron merchants. It has a huge kitchen and classic dining room with a table that seats 8. The 1st floor is great for family time with 3 sitting rooms and a game room with lots of games, books and movies. The home has a unique set up with large open spaces with pocket doors that offer different options for use. There is a large porch with a swing that is great for just hanging out with friends and letting the world stroll by. It's a terrific space because of its prime location. Located next to the hottest culinary scene in St. Paul, one can walk to several restaurants, unique bars, coffee shops, and the Grand Avenue shopping district. We are also just moments from downtown Saint Paul, only a 1.7 Mile walk to the Excel center; it's close the MSP airport (15-25 min drive); close to the Mall of America (15-20 min drive), and also just a quick drive (15-20 min) to downtown Minneapolis. We allow well behaved dogs and there is a lot of great dog walking areas around. St. Paul is very dog friendly. Dogs are allowed ($50 per dog per stay, discounts available for toy size non-shedding breeds). Please pay doggie surcharge before arrival. No cats, sorry allergies. We are certified and inspected with the MN department of health and are compliant with all local safety laws. Guest access Full access to the whole first and second floor. First floor includes 2 large sitting rooms, the game room, a dining room, a large kitchen. All the bedrooms are located on the second floor which has a large landing with a coffee and snack bar. No access to the 3rd floor condo, which is owners quarters, and the basement. Owners have seperate entrance through servant staircase and entrance to allow guests privacy. Other things to note We own two toys size dogs. They live with us in the condo on the third floor and only use the servants staircase to come and go from the condo. Guest rarely come in contact with these adorable hypoallergenic dogs. Registration number FBL-34196-48805
